Iβm actually sitting here listening to their music right nowβwell, more like a whole bunch of songs at once.
Man, they were just incredibly good. Honestly, their tracks are so top-tier that listing them all would take forever.
I wouldn't call myself one of those hardcore superfans who memorizes every single lineup changeβthat kind of stuff never really interested me when it comes to music. To me, it was always about the final productβyou know, what they actually produced as a cohesive unit.
It makes me think of Linkin Park, too; in my eyes, they felt like the natural evolution of what Limp Bizkit started. Though, if we're being honest, Linkin Park eventually reached a much higher level of fameβand maybe a bit more commercializationβthan LB did.
Even though I think both bands are beyond excellent, LB is where it all started for me... I can still vividly remember having my Discman clamped onto my ears and feeling the energy from Fred.
Anyway, I figured I'd just share a little bit of that nostalgia here.π
