They don't bother with bureaucracy or red tape when they're cleaning up the streets, which is exactly why we love them. Looking at this list, which ones do you think are actually most effective at delivering street justice?

Clint Eastwood is the absolute legend here.

I have a soft spot for Cobra, but let's be honest—it's pretty rough. The cast is great and the costumes look good, but the story is lacking, and while Brigitte Nielsen has the look, her acting is just subpar.
(Rambo is definitely in a different league than Cobra)

Mad Max is a solid film, sure, but Harry really outshines it.

Judge Dredd? Honestly, it was kind of ridiculous.

Schwarzenegger is a fantastic guy, though I think he had much better work than these picks—think The Terminator or Red Heat. Personally, I prefer Conan and Red Sonja.

Dolph Lundgren is a bit silly, much like Jean-Claude Van Damme and that actor I used to catch in theaters back in high school—I'll have to look up his name, maybe Michael Dudikoff.

And where is Charles Bronson in all this? Please! The Dirty Dozen is a masterpiece, but you can't forget Death Wish!

Yeah, but you forgot about Charles Bronson in Death Wish... when a street gang takes his wife, he turns into this lethal vigilante, hunting down gang members under the cover of night, completely unpredictable...

Clint Eastwood

That was a tough call. Choosing between Mad Max, Clint Eastwood, or Schwarzenegger in his final action role... I eventually settled on Arnold. While Mad Max and Dirty Harry are both absolute classics, I can't help but think about how they satirized the whole genre in PAJ. For me, he just hits different. So, my vote goes to Schwarzenegger as the ultimate action hero.

Damn, I knew I missed something. And Charles Bronson was at the top of my list. 😵 😵 🙈 🙂

It was a tough call for me too:
Yeah, Cobra is good when you just need to take out some bad guys, but the movie is honestly ridiculous. You've got a point there...
Mad Max - there's only one Mel Gibson, but the plot feels pretty cliché by today's standards.
Dirty Harry - ha, not many people get to blow a villain off a tower with a bazooka, torture Scorpion, or say: "You're in luck, pal."
Hard Boiled (Chow Yun-fat) - my favorite action flick, and nobody voted for it? Not many people shoot a villain in the eye right in front of the police after he kills their partner...
Judge Dredd - a terrible movie, great comic, but there's one good scene that would have been better if the villain hadn't pulled a gun. Judge lists the sentences, the villain says: "Don't tell me, life imprisonment?" Judge shoots him: "No, death!" End of discussion.
The Last Action Hero - where else can you see a cop toss dynamite into a dead villain's crotch? Pure gold!
Bad Deal - an absolute classic.
Street Justice - I learned one useful thing from this one: a billiard ball in a handkerchief. Very handy.
Out of Control - so-so, a rare quality film among them.
The Punisher - bad, but I love The Punisher; to quote myself: not many people have killed as many sons of bitches as he has.
The Punisher - better... but it doesn't even come close to the comic book version.
Street Justice - I pulled that one from somewhere...
Dragon Kiss - come on, people, he had to take down so many villains with his bare hands in one movie, and he's a prostitute...
Doberman - I probably got the name wrong, but I meant that detective who harasses trans people, loves planting bombs near kids, and kills mothers. How much gas did you have to burn to afford that car?

Man, Bruce Lee missed out on the most iconic vigilante ever—and he did it all with his bare hands. Seriously, most of these guys are just walking around with guns.🙂
