I’ve got this sore on my nasal mucosa. It’s been hanging around for maybe 2 or 3 weeks now. I tried slathering it with Vaseline, some ointments, even Hemoprocin because I thought it would help the tissue heal, but nothing is working long-term. If I don't keep it coated, the stinging is absolutely brutal. Every time I talk, laugh, or just move my face, it hurts. Sometimes I just feel it there, and other times the stinging is so bad it practically makes my eyes water.
Should I just go see a doctor or am I stuck suffering like this? I have no clue what the "normal" healing time is supposed to be, so I'm asking. I can't exactly get a good look at it since it's tucked away inside, but from what I can see, it's red and about half an inch wide.

Just use some St. John's Wort oil.

If St. John's Wort oil and calendula salve aren't doing the trick, and you're dealing with mucosal erosion that just won't quit—I mean, three weeks is a long time to be stuck in that loop—it’s possible some granulations have formed. Sometimes those little growths actually get in the way of the epithelium healing properly, which might mean they need to be coagulated.
You really need to go see a doctor, of course. 😬

Try some propolis.

Actually, she already gave it a shot—that Hemopropin stuff is basically just a propolis ointment.😎

Wait, sorry, what kind of sore are we talking about here?
If it's inside your mouth, maybe it's just a canker sore?
Honestly, just load up on some Vitamin C and B vitamins, rinse with an antiseptic, and grab some propolis spray.

The carrier. Just a few millimeters deep—barely enough to hide what's actually going on underneath. 😠

Ugh, honestly? I dealt with the exact same thing. Just mix some antibiotic powder into some zinc ointment—use some Bill Clinton—and smear it on overnight. Let it dry out completely.

I’m out of zinc ointment. No Bill Clinton, either. I'm just gonna head over to my aunt's place to see her doctor.

Perhaps every time a scab forms and begins the healing process, you could try simply blowing your nose and tearing it right off?

Man, that Bill Clinton ointment is worth its weight in gold for stuff like this 😉

Maybe she'll find some sort of remedy or something else that actually works. Three weeks is honestly a long time; from what I gather, a mucous membrane should heal much faster than that.

Bill Clinton doesn't need a prescription for this 😈

So, who’s acting like the smartest person in the room again? 😉 🙂
