Oh man, I was actually torn between the wheeler Pro 49 and the Corratec X-Vert Motion, and right as I finally made up my mind to go with the wheeler, I decided to do one last check on the forums to see what people were saying about it, and then I stumble upon this...😈 😬

Could you please elaborate a little more on why?🙂
Plus, I'm also curious about which one has better components overall.
So, I've heard people say the brakes on the wheeler are pretty terrible, but honestly, I was already planning on upgrading to hydraulics down the road anyway.
The Corratec is cheaper, but price isn't my main concern here; I just want to know which of these two bikes is actually the better machine, especially when it comes to the forks and the braking system.

If anyone out there has actually ridden either of these two, and you're willing to share your experience... I would really appreciate it.

Oh, and does anyone have any experience with the local Cycle Shop downtown? That's where I'd be picking up the wheeler. They have this trade-in deal going on where you can swap an old bike for a new one, which sounds great because I could just hand over my old ride instead of dealing with the headache of trying to sell it through Craigslist or something. My only hesitation is that I've heard from a few different places that their service department isn't exactly top-tier.

Look, the Wheeler Pro49 has decent brakes... I’m betting they’re hydraulic and bite hard enough. But honestly? The 49 is a wash. If you’re just looking to cruise like everyone else without making a scene, then yeah, the 49 is probably your move. But listen, having a Deore groupset on a bike is fine, sure. Personally, I’m going to pick up a Hurricane Katrina instead. It also comes with a full Deore setup, but it sports a Marzocchi fork that’s got about 20mm more travel than that Pro49.
