Are you just a complete moron by conviction, or does it just happen to turn out that way every single time?

I suppose I should get some mod points for this one, shouldn't I?

🤣

Oh, sure—you definitely get points for bringing up the vespa and dropping the "M" word.😁
Admit it... you pulled the rest of this out of thin air just to annoy us, probably straight from some Puschlschank rant... 😬

You people are absolutely mental, you švabov... 🤔 😁

My top 5 picks for absolute disco trash

1. Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe / basically just a chaotic wedding tunnel dance
2. DJ Ötzi - Anton Aus Tirol / pure, unadulterated nonsense rhythm
3. Village People - YMCA / a clunky mashup of striptease vibes and arm waving
4. The Bangles - Walk Like An Egyptian / the classic Egyptian snake wiggle
5. Ricky Martin - She Bangs / nothing but frantic, mindless pogo jumping

Here’s my personal shortlist of the top 5 most grating youth subcultures—specifically those defined by their distinct musical tastes and fashion choices:

1. The "Country-Pop" crowd 🙂
2. The punks 🙂
3. The grunge kids 🙂
4. The goths 😱
5. The EDM and trance ravers 🙂

Those ethno-pop-folk hacks—just a bunch of manufactured nonsense. 🙂
Punkers. 🙂
3. Landscapers. 🙂
4. darkeri 😱
5. techno/trance partygoers 🙂

So, this number 3 of mine—it’s officially sitting above 1 now.
Look, if you're stuck doing an internship at fifteen or sixteen, fine—it’s part of the grind. But once you hit twenty and you're still pulling that same amateur level of work? For God's sake.
God, it’s exhausting—honestly. Imagine wasting twenty years of your life tethered to a single genre, stubbornly insisting that nothing worth hearing exists outside of those specific boundaries. It isn't just narrow-minded; it’s tedious. Refusing to step outside the mental cage of your own preconceived notions and genre tropes? That’s not being "loyal" to the music—it’s just plain draining.

I appreciate the solidarity, though I really feel for you being stuck in that grind😬
My wife spent the entire night suffocating me with these pseudo-intellectual poetic ramblings—we're talking phrases like "fated destiny" and "epistemological-hermeneutical knowledge"
It was like reading Coehl all over again🙄
God, I can't stand political science majors🙂

It’s heavy. This is a gut punch for all us music heads. A true icon is gone🙏 , the kind of guy who defined the vibe in Las Vegas and San Remo.
The even darker part? I can already see some tribute act trying to cover "Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart," probably with Marc Almond doing the vocals (assuming he hasn't kicked the bucket himself by now):

The real kicker is probably going to be some tribute performance where Marc Almond covers "Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart"—assuming he hasn't passed away by then.

Why not Nick Cave, though? He nailed it back when he did Kicking Against the Pricks...

Man, this is just depressing news for all the mods out there. An absolute legend of the industry is gone🙏 , the guy who basically owned Las Vegas and San Remo.
What’s even more pathetic is thinking some tribute act is probably gonna belt out "Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart" like Marc Almond (assuming he hasn't kicked the bucket too):

Thanks a lot, I guess I'm not the only one constantly embarrassing myself by butchering that song title. 😬
Personally, I've always thought Cave's version hits way harder than that Pitney-Almond one...

So I spent a little time digging through the guy's bio. Unbelievable—he even dated Marianne Faithfull. Is there anyone over 60 in Hollywood who hasn't dated her at this point? 😲 Seriously, worst last name ever. 🙏

Hold on a second, man. You're studying journalism and you're a KSET-ovac too, right? Or did I misread the situation? If you're in the journalism program, shouldn't you be more clued in on this?

And regarding that whole thing about the bagpipes and the effects—that was actually my idea, so I'm a bit confused as to why there's any doubt. 🤔

If I were out in Washington, D.C., exposing this kind of thing, I might actually have to pay for it with my life.
