I honestly live for just plain old cornflakes drowned in hot milk, it’s the absolute best
all those other people obsessing over adding fruit, granola, or chocolate—to me, it all just feels way too sugary and overdone

I make it a point to eat breakfast around 8:30 AM every single day, but honestly, cereal and yogurt just don't work for me in the morning. If I eat those, I end up sprinting to the restroom and I'll end up missing my bus 🤣
I'd much rather grab some tasty cornbread and a coffee 😬
I usually save the cereal for when I get hungry in the evening, since I rarely ever eat dinner. By the time I get home from work and whip up some lunch, it’s usually already 5:00 PM, so I don't really feel the need to have a big meal later. I have fruit every day, and sometimes I'll just grab a banana for breakfast. All in all, I just can't function without breakfast ☕

I never skip breakfast—I wake up starving. Usually, it's just some granola and Greek yogurt with a bit of fruit, plus a 120 mg Vitamin C supplement. After that, I'm eating something small every three or four hours or so.

Lunch should definitely be your biggest meal of the day. Load up on plenty of protein!

Look, I eat when I’m actually hungry. I'm not going to force myself to scarf down a meal first thing in the morning just because some wellness guru says it's "healthy," especially if I don't feel like eating. Honestly, I function perfectly fine without breakfast. Don't get me wrong, there are mornings where I do end up eating, but that's only because my body is actually sending me hunger signals.

Breakfast is easily the second best thing about my morning... 😍 it really sets the tone for the day. I always make sure to squeeze some fresh orange and lemon juice first, then move on to the staples—muesli, eggs, sausage, maybe some cream cheese... you know the drill. 🙂

newyorker24 said:I’m definitely a breakfast person too! Honestly, though, guys working construction or doing heavy lifting should probably be eating a massive breakfast—lots of bacon, eggs, and stuff like that.😉

🙂Why should it just be the construction crews getting the eggs and bacon?
Whenever I grab breakfast at a hotel, about half the guests go straight for the eggs, and the other half adds bacon to the mix... and they certainly aren't out there swinging hammers all day.

I honestly don't get the logic behind this whole thing—like, why on earth would someone bother squeezing fresh orange juice first thing in the morning when you could just eat an actual orange?
where’s even the fun in that!

I'm with you on that one, 😉 though I still find myself juicing oranges and lemons in the morning... maybe some grapefruit too, occasionally.

Then breakfast.
Then the first coffee.
Then the first cigarette. 🙂

Breakfast is non-negotiable, seven days a week.
Usually just muesli or some cereal with yogurt or milk. Honestly, I haven't gotten bored of this routine in years—sometimes I even find myself looking forward to it right before hitting the sack. 🙂 :
- chocolate muesli mixed with oats, a bar of dark chocolate (73% cacao) broken in, then topped off with hot milk and stirred well.
Lately, I've been washing it down with two glasses of whey protein (I know, some of you guys are probably gagging just reading that..)

I don't feel hungry at all when I first wake up. I usually wait about 30 to 60 minutes after getting to the office before I eat, typically just a sandwich and a
Coca-Cola. I’ve been thinking about cutting out the Coca-Cola in the mornings, but honestly, it hits the spot right now. 😢

Just switch to Diet Coke.

Try making your sandwich with tuna instead—it makes a huge difference.
I’m an economics major and I hit the gym almost every single day, so for breakfast, I try to load up on protein and plenty of healthy carbs (I’ve been eating fresh tomatoes every day lately). I keep the fats moderate, mostly just some olive oil. I tend to skip meals too. Since I'm a fan of sandwiches, sometimes I'll just make a one-egg omelet with turkey and stuff it between two slices of whole wheat bread...
Sometimes my classes run until 7 PM. To keep my energy from bottoming out, I’ll grab some fruit or a light juice, but by lunchtime, I pretty much throw all the nutritional rules out the window. I don't really watch portions when I'm eating lunch. As for dinner, I usually only eat if I actually worked out that day...

Lately, I’ve been juicing a ton of oranges, especially now with everyone catching bugs and getting sick. Honestly, I think eating them whole is way better—plus they taste much more vibrant—but we happened to pick up this batch with super thin skins that are basically impossible to peel without making a mess. So, we just end up throwing them all in the juicer instead. It might not be the healthiest habit, but I always kick things off with a white coffee first thing in the morning. What do you guys think? Any thoughts on the routine?

I really need to grab some breakfast, honestly. My stomach is growling so loud I feel like I'm actually distracting everyone during my lectures at the university.😬Usually, I’ll just have some Cocoa Puffs or maybe grab a pastry from the campus cafe if I don't have enough time to eat something at home first.

Probably isn't the healthiest way to do it, but I usually grab a white coffee first thing in the morning—thoughts?

You want my thoughts?! Fine, here they are:
If you've got oranges with those stubborn skins where you try to force them open and end up just mangling the fruit and spraying juice everywhere, don't bother juicing. Just take a sharp knife, slice them into quarters, and pull the segments away from the skin by hand to eat them properly... forget juicing... you're basically flushing all the most nutritious parts of the fruit right down the drain...

I actually found this snippet somewhere, check it out:
When you eat citrus fruits, peeling and tossing the rind actually destroys an incredible source of vital nutrients (think Vitamin C, bioflavonoids, calcium, etc.). Real foodies know to dry out the peels from oranges, lemons, or tangerines in the sun and then grate them into baked goods so you can actually save most of those goodies.
