I was scrolling through AT&T earlier—James... man, there’s just so much nonsense on there, but here are the highlights:

Sunce: Do you honestly think you're a good person just because you were bragging at home about how you cheated on your wife?
James: Look, everyone makes mistakes in life, and you learn from those mistakes.

Well, he's certainly "learning," isn't he? He loves his lessons, probably top of his class, such a real scholar 😬

Just a little bit longer...

Esmeralda: So, how many women have you actually slept with?
James: Just imagine the number, but seriously, it's massive.

Di: I’ve gotta tell you, all my girlfriends are absolutely losing their minds over you. And honestly, I'm right there with them. You have an insane body!
James: Wait, where are you guys even from? 🙂

Mask: Do you enjoy lying?
James: To be perfectly honest, no.

🙄 😁 😁

Here are my top 4 biggest hair disasters:

1. Letting a stylist take a breather by playing whatever random magazine CD happens to be lying around the shop—and definitely not anything by Howard. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more foolish or looked more ridiculous after a haircut than I did that time.
2. Switching up my entire look just because I wanted a change of scenery, rather than actually wanting a new hairstyle. It was a bit of a mistake, I guess.
3. Trying out a different barber just because my usual guy was unavailable. This happened just yesterday, and since I rushed home without thinking, I instinctively started trying to fix it myself—even though I’m probably a danger to myself and everyone else when I hold a pair of scissors!
4. Getting into an argument with your barber. That's never a good idea, I suppose.

I haven't stepped foot in a hair salon since I was in third grade. Last time, I walked out with my hair cut twice as short as what I actually asked for—plus they gave me this ridiculous blowout for 🙂—so yeah, I’ve officially given up on those masochistic little outings.

Carol Jackson45 said:Here are 7 of the absolute worst songs to strum on an acoustic guitar at a party (random order):

1. Walking on Sunshine
2. Wild World
3. To Be With You
4. Bohemian Rhapsody
5. Bohemian Rhapsody
6. Bohemian Rhapsody
7. '74-'75

🥳

Just wanted to give a quick shout-out to the legendary Carol Jackson45 for starting this thread way back in August 2005—back when most people were out hitting the coast. It’s survived all this time, actually growing so much it practically deserves its own subforum or maybe even its own dedicated section.
Huge congrats to Ms. Jackson on the massive success of this thread.

1. Walking out looking like a literal weasel.
2. Sitting in a barbershop where people give you "spoilers" on how they'll cut your hair, only to tell you: "Eh, just do whatever you want."
3. Grabbing a pair of tailor's shears and deciding to hack off about 12 inches of hair yourself.

Man, going with that wild look was easily the best decision I ever made... I looked damn good back then. 😍

The top three giveaways I’d actually risk my life for:

3. Tush (even if you’re Lemmy)

It gives me such great pleasure to congratulate Mrs. Carrot on the incredible success of launching this discussion.

Ah... here's the definitive ranking of our music threads:

1. All sorts of personal rankings—think of it as a digital confession booth.
2. Even more recent stuff from the NP section—basically just a massive chat room.
3. What was the last CD or vinyl you actually bought or received? A little place to brag, if you must.

🙂

Good grief—we were eating there twice a day, plus another two times down by the boardwalk, and then once more in town. *licks lips*

The zombie at the local Safeway is basically the undisputed legend of the city's nightlife when it comes to late-night snacks (unless you count Roma, but that’s just a European bakery that somehow ended up lost in the States)

Top 3 dumbest ways my cat has absolutely wrecked me while I was sleeping:

3. The "Leap of Faith" over my head. He misjudged the landing just enough to leave a massive bruise right on my forehead. Honestly, thank God he didn't land directly on my eyes. Total jerk.
2. Waking up to a claw tip being shoved straight up my nostril. From the inside. Look, I don't have much of a nose to begin with, but somehow he still managed to scratch the interior 🙏
. 1. After a long night, I wake up to a paw and a set of claws being jammed into my mouth—which, for some weird reason, was wide open 😁. Result? A shredded upper lip on the inside. It hurts like hell.
