Lately, I’ve been dealing with this persistent issue—pimples and inflammation breaking out all over my scalp. It's incredibly frustrating. My current routine consists of using Dove shampoo specifically formulated for oily hair, paired with a conditioner. The one exception is when I have the time to massage some homemade infusion of St. John's Wort and walnut leaves into my hair after washing; I dug up that little remedy somewhere along the line. But let's be honest, I don't always have the luxury of prepping a tea before hopping in the shower. So, I'm turning to you all. Please, lay your experiences and ideas on me—in your opinion, which shampoo is actually the best for a sensitive scalp?
Merry Christmas, everyone!😘

Look, listen to me, you should really try to find some locally made St. John's Wort oil and just massage it really deeply into your scalp every single night before you hit the hay. I’m pretty sure it actually works, honestly, because my brother was dealing with the exact same issues. It’s basically that calendula oil mixed with St. John's Wort, and you can usually pick it up at pharmacies or drugstores, though I guess they tend to dilute it quite a bit most of the time.
Don't let washing your hair every morning become this huge, exhausting chore, but if you do, maybe just use a super mild shampoo—if you can find one with chamomile, like that Johnson's Baby stuff, that would be ideal.
Anyway, that’s all I’ve got, but I really hope it helps you out, since it worked for my brother in like, what, three days?

Well, I hate to be the one to say it, but even that might not do the trick for you. If you've truly lost about half of your hair density like you mentioned, I can tell you with absolute certainty that you aren't going to reclaim that original thickness ever again. It’s a tough pill to swallow, I know. Also, are you entirely certain that the itching was actually the primary culprit behind the hair loss?😕

Look into using Nizoral shampoo. You can pick it up at any CVS or Walgreens, and it’s incredibly effective if you're dealing with an itchy, flaky, or irritated scalp. Use it whenever you need to. Once those symptoms clear up, I’d suggest switching to a gentle baby shampoo or checking out one of those clean hair care lines at Target that doesn't use silicones or preservatives.🙂
