Your TV is basically inside your head, while the toaster is practically in the next room over.

Not quite.

Taking an interest in sex and urban decay feels like a personal insult to me...

I'll just give you my old drive. I've been staring at this thing for a month, wondering if I should just toss it in the trash. It's a Plextor, claims to be 42x.

Look, you might be the unofficial king of this neighborhood, but does that make us even now? 😬

Calculon, from "All My Circuits."

And then there's Bender's whole magnet issue when he tries to be a folk singer.😂

Futurama
Fry picked corn and I don't care
Bender picked corn and he is great
Take that, you stupid corn!

The burner phone is sitting right there on his computer—and let’s not forget, he wasn't even living with me three months ago, remember? 😉 The whole point was that I wasn't burning CDs for myself. 🙂

I honestly feel like being obsessed with sex and the city is nothing short of a personal insult.

😁

You have to understand that this show worked perfectly on a brain as fried as mine. Instead of sitting around moping because some guy dumped you, you just go out and buy yourself a pair of Manolo Blahniks—and suddenly, all your problems are solved. 😬

1. The Smoggers
2. Jalenko
3. Planet of the Apes
4. Grizzly Adams
5. Blue Summer (some kind of teen drama... I think it was British🤔)

Now, I absolutely loved Grizzly Adams; there was that one idyllic folk songdeep inside the forest there's a place into...

But sex and the big city? Good grief!

Not British, more like Spanish.
And I don't believe you about The Simpsons—you're just talking nonsense since you clearly haven't watched a single episode.

@Sandra Chase16/">@@Sandra Chase16: Grizzly was the man. I remember there was this donkey called "Number 7"🙂

If we're talking about shows that aired in the early Sunday afternoon slot, I’d definitely throw in Galaxy - Starship and Automan.

I don't buy your take on The Simpsons either; you're just making stuff up since you clearly haven't watched an episode in your life.

Spanish?? And here I was thinking it was some Eastern European language... 🤔
And you don't have to believe me about The Simpsons. There's plenty of stuff I know that you wouldn't believe if we actually met.😁

She stared long enough to get heckled by the voices in her head

Man, I can't even recall what that Native American character's name was...

God, just thinking about Automan—he was such a legend when he’d go "energy transparent"

I mean, I actually hear them while I'm flipping through channels, or when someone else is watching, or even just visiting friends when they have the TV on loudly.🙂

I don't get it.

Sex and the City... something so lowbrow and idiotically oversimplified. It was never more absurdly trivial than when it hit the airwaves. That’s what actually deserved an audience.

Plus, their styling was absolutely gorgeous 🙏

I remember two of the youngest kids on the team were named Franklin D. Roosevelt and Shark (this chubby kid who was constantly snacking. That cracked me up back then, so it stuck. It's hard to believe they're Czech...

If all your jokes are along the lines of "I haven't watched the Simpsons"... Man...

Just make an effort. Watch at least one episode. Seriously.

Sex and the City... something so incredibly pedestrian and idiotically oversimplified was never actually on TV before. That's what we should have been watching.

And let's be honest, their styling was absolutely gorgeous. 🙏

Fair point, but back then I had a roommate who thought she was the absolute height of sophistication—I think her name was Charlotte—and her side of the room was covered in pictures of babies and wedding dresses...

Honestly, I have no clue who Charlotte is 🤔 unless she’s just looking to get hitched. Think about it: you've got four women—one wants true love, one just wants to hook up, one wants marriage, and one is focused on her career. It's the perfect allegory where every woman can see herself reflected... seriously. 😁

And they spend all their time whining over nothing 😁 which, if I'm being honest, describes me perfectly 😳 😁 🙂

Here’s the lowdown:
Summer Blue (Blue Summer)
It’s that legendary American TV classic, "Blue Summer," directed by Antonio Mercero. It dropped back in 1981 and follows a ragtag group of teens from all walks of life who bond over one epic summer vacation in Nerja (Malaga), dealing with all that messy adolescent drama. Chanquete, Tito, Bea, Javi, Pancho, Piraña, Quique, Desi and Julia are the unforgettable names of the personages of this series, which was filmed entirely on location in beautiful natural settings.
