I’m down for that. Might actually make for better company... 👍
just look at this decadence..

I let my son watch this music video, and now he’s been running around the house acting like a total motherfucker for two hours straight.

Honestly, I'd take them over being extremists, white supremacists, or some unknown hack any day of the week.

Hmm, I feel like you're being a little too formal here....

I mean, maybe I am a bit too refined, but hey, whatever works. 🙂

Do you actually know of any place where employers are just sitting around waiting to hire people straight off unemployment?

Honestly, it is absolutely staggering how easily the masses can be stirred up and manipulated! One single mention of censorship and suddenly everyone just switches off their brains and decides you must be on their side, right?

The rest of you are simply throwing out cheap, hollow slogans because you fell for such a low-effort stunt
Let me reiterate: they never actually expected the TV network to run that slowly in the first place; this whole "censorship" narrative is nothing more than a tacky, desperate attempt at free publicity
Please, don't be so foolish

everyone else is just throwing out cheap clichés because you all totally fell for a low-effort stunt.
I’m telling you again—they didn't even expect the TV station to play this slow burn; this whole thing about 'censorship' is nothing more than some cheap, extra publicity.
don't be so naive
I'd much rather be considered stupid than "smart" by your definition. 👎
coastalorca3 actually dismantled all those weak conspiracy theories and that whole "protecting culture" nonsense that people are using to justify why they won't show this video; honestly, they're spot on at every single point. 👍

So, are you truly suggesting that this isn't just a clever marketing ploy designed by Eminem's record label to shift all the focus onto the track and its music video?
Do you honestly believe that the refusal to air the Let 3 video "Rado ide Srbin u vojnike" on major American networks was also an act of censorship?

Maria Peterson said:So, you seriously don't think this was just some marketing stunt by Eminem's label to distract everyone from the actual song and music video?
I mean, I really don't buy it. The song was already written way back when Banderas penned it. Like, are we honestly suggesting Eminem was sitting there thinking, "Man, I should totally drop some profanity in the chorus so when they ban my video on MTV, I'll suddenly become a superstar!" I mean, HELLO?!? 😵
Besides, this whole thread isn't even about marketing gimmicks, it's about censorship.
Maria Peterson said:Do you think the fact that Let 3's video for 'Rado ide Srbin u vojnike (motherfucker)' wasn't aired on national TV counts as censorship too?
From what I know, they're basically playing ass in that video. And if that's considered the same thing as swearing... well, damn, if it is... uh, I'm done. 😳

What does censorship even mean in a country like America? It’s a valid question...🤔
Society isn't suddenly going to collapse (from such a high and prestigious position) just because Eminem releases a music video under some specific label... and nobody is going to lose their head just because these things start getting airtime on TV.
But here’s the kicker: broadcasting that video on television directly violates the Communications Act. The government shouldn't be letting that slide, but then again, commercial networks are already breaking the damn rules left and right anyway—I guess they just decided to add it to their repertoire too...

Maria Peterson said:once again—they didn't actually expect the commercial to air, so this whole "censorship" thing is really just cheap extra publicity.
Maybe they didn't expect it because they already knew they'd get—well, censored.🙂
If that ad actually had an open pass to broadcast on TV, then I guess we could call it "just a marketing trick."

loo:lita said:The issue—if you want to call it that—is that airing that music video on TV is a direct violation of the Communications Act. I suppose the government shouldn't really be letting that happen, though commercial stations are already breaking the rules left and right, so maybe they just don't care about adding this to their rotation...
🙂 🙂
A law? Well, finally—actual data. But which law specifically? What exactly is being violated? Do you have a link or something?

The Communications Act is pretty poorly defined; if you followed it strictly, even a bit of swearing in a comedy sketch would be off-limits. Honestly, he probably wrote that track because his mind was occupied with the issues back in Canada. As for the music video, it looks like a deliberate provocation, and judging by how much coverage it’s getting everywhere, I'd say he nailed it. I'm on his side—motherfucker. It's certainly better than listening to those unknown idiots.

Go ahead and foam at the mouth in front of the headquarters—it suits you all perfectly. 😁

But honestly—do I even look like I care?

🙄 Look, this isn't even about some teenage angst phase or that whole "fight the system" cliché, you know? And honestly, I probably shouldn't even expect someone like you to really get where I'm coming from, since in your tiny little world—now that you're finally through that hormonal storm—it feels like there's nothing left to worry about besides whatever trivial stuff is sitting right in front of you. 👋

I mean, I guess you really just had to get that off your chest and tell us all, didn't you? ☕
