Real Rock vs. Garbage

First off, I don't have a secondary account on this forum. Second—kudos to the only member here who actually gave a sane response to the topic. Third, I didn't come here to mess with you guys—well, maybe I did, but I'll save that for when I've settled in longer. And fourth—why the hell is everyone targeting me?!!

What I play: guitar... currently rocking a Yamaha, though I've got my sights set on a Gibson LP within the next two years once I've managed to scrape enough cash together, man.
What I play: Rock... with a little bit of metal thrown in, though I don't listen to much of that.
Favorite bands: Guns N' Roses takes the top spot, then Scorpions, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Queen... basically just all the classic Rock legends.
I try to pick up a bit of everything from their catalogs... plus a few old-school American groups.

To hell with commercial garbage... Hip Hop and all that nonsense. Honestly, people listen to Rock far more than it appears; it’s just that Rock isn't shoved down your throat by commercial interests quite like Hip Hop and that other trash you hear playing on MTV twenty-four hours a day. For God's sake, they only ever broadcast that stuff. That's why I stopped watching them, just like I stopped watching Viva. Those idiots don't know anything else; it's just 50 Cent and the rest of that junk. And when I look at today's youth, it's all fools wearing oversized pants, acting like they're 50... or worshiping Eminem... like those guys are actually something special. It's nothing but pure arrogance and nothing more.

For me, Franz Ferdinand are hands down the best rockers out there—mostly because of those damn guitar solos... you can actually hear that Santana influence bleeding through... absolute fire!!!🙏
