I honestly doubt she'd be able to relax knowing there's food being prepared right behind them. 😁

My top picks for work breaks and the best routes to get there..

I can't quite decide
Unfortunately, there isn't a bakery left on the new road (nor the building where it used to be) that makes those delicious cheese rolls.$2.25 The local blend at the gallery near Trakošćanski Street, plus a Nescafé for six dollars.
Godot (a bit pretentious, honestly, but sitting on the patio today was lovely).
Baron (they have wonderful teas).
Sport Billy over by the community center...
And the best route to the SC: Zayina, the new road, Kučerina (near those kids from Brooklyn), Badalićeva, then Kranjčevićeva..

I'm moving to a new job soon, so I’m feeling a bit nostalgic... how is one even supposed to enjoy a break in New Jersey City?? It doesn't compare to Brooklyn, especially not Trakošćanska.🙂

Today was my last break here.. what comes next???
Corporations suck! :2up:

Go to Chicago.

If you’re broke, I’ll lend you some cash... 👋

Honestly, for the last seven years, I haven't been able to say the word "fair" without that rhyme popping into my head. 😍

My top 3 rhymes for "jebanje":

3. "After every fair, I feel so grand / Like a fish caught by hand"
2. "The grill was running for a while / Then they tore it down, what a pile of bile"
1. "No one here wants me at all / I've got nothing, nothing at all"

Here are my top 4 biggest pet peeves when I’m forced to use public or someone else's computer:
1. That "group similar taskbar buttons" nonsense... why does everything need to be clumped together like that?🙂
2. When there isn't a single Desktop shortcut or even a Windows Explorer icon in the Quick Launch bar to actually find anything...
3. All those different view settings—honestly, if it isn't set to Details, I don't want to see it...
4. Those obnoxious Windows startup and shutdown sounds that just blast right into your ears...

Viva favela! Nothing beats Brooklyn...
New Jersey City—it’s packed with greenery! Tons of little boutiques everywhere. Everything is just so cute. Those little bars behind the market in Queens? They feel like they're straight out of the French Riviera! Rol. Seriously. If I were you, I'd just quit my job right now...

Imagine if you actually worked on Wall Street. Like me. There's nothing here. I wish there was at least one decent Chinese restaurant run by actual Chinese people. But no. At least you can grab some cheap faux-fur slippers... 🙂

Oh, wow! Faux-fur slippers! You should have led with that! If I'd known, I could've shown up to the party actually dressed for the occasion 😁

It’s definitely not the French Riviera, thank god, but Queens is easily one of the best spots in Washington, D.C. And honestly, Zapruđe is actually pretty decent too. Sure, it doesn't quite hit the same level as Brooklyn, but we're talking about really chill areas where I actually enjoy hanging out... they've got soul. Even the stretch near Dugav is alright, but the rest of New Jersey City? God, it's just soul-crushing.

Sport? I don't know. It’s fine (decent by Washington, D.C. standards), but it feels kind of greasy to me... too heavy and stiff... Ramadani has him beat here... the sliders are huge, but they lack flavor... you know, sliders... they could easily be a hit if they had more kick. I'm out.

btw, the market in Queens is basically the peak of the opposition. If anyone has a problem with that, Bogovic's isn't far away.

The ultimate menu at Gore Vidal’s place (serving 2):

1. Stuffed sliders
2. Burgers or sausages topped with creamy cheese
3. Fried dough bites
4. Baked beans
5. Greek salad
6. Artisan rolls
7. Bud Light

Man, I am starving. And I’m still stuck at the office too.

dzdzihad said:@Muharem- Speaking of sports and those incidents—Desire-Sarajevo's game was called early in the 58th minute after their players attacked the ref. Since Desire-Sarajevo was trailing, they basically knocked themselves out of the tournament.

Desire-Sarajevo is a powerhouse, always has been. Even bigger than the local militia or the Fifth Corps. But let them win, I guess. At least being a bunch of horses makes things interesting when eleven guys decide to gang up on a referee...
