Half the country is sick

Been dealing with this cold for a week now, but I haven't run a fever once.

It looks like we're settling into the second half of the season. We’re still seeing the occasional random case of the common cold here and there.

Maxflu did the trick for me; honestly, it works better than most of those heavily advertised "remedies" you see on TV. It really cleared up my breathing and relieved that heavy pressure in my sinuses and nose.

There’s no cure for the flu because you’re fighting a virus. Vaccines help, but only if you catch them before you're exposed to that specific strain; they won't do much for other types.

As for Maxflu, here is what's actually in it:
500 mg acetaminophen—to bring down a fever.
• 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride—constricts nasal blood vessels to stop the constant nose blowing.
• 60 mg vitamin C—a standard antioxidant to support the immune system.

Bottom line: Maxflu manages symptoms, it doesn't cure the infection itself.
That said, it works for symptom relief, which is what really matters when you feel like garbage.🙂

Only half? Honestly, at this point, I'm wondering if anyone is actually healthy. The list of people who aren't fighting *something* is getting pretty short...
