Has anyone here had experience using Asentra tablets? I'm curious if you've actually noticed an effect...
Thanks

Hey, quick question if anyone can help me out: I’ve been on 20mg of Zoloft daily for about a year now—my psychiatrist originally put me on it. But now, a second doctor is suggesting I switch things up and move over to Haleu 50mg instead.
Can anyone explain what the actual difference is between the two? Like, who should I really be listening to here?😕

There’s a thread about Zoloft and Halea over here that might be worth checking out...

I really think you should listen to your doctor. I’m assuming you aren't seeing two different physicians at once. If your current treatment plan is working perfectly for you, there isn't much reason to change things up. For any doubts, confusion, or if you're just unhappy with how things are going, your doctor is the best person to talk to about it...

I’ve been on it for four months now and it’s actually helped me quite a bit—I'm dealing with both F41 and F42. So far, I haven't run into any side effects personally, though my psychiatrist did mention nausea might be an issue. He also brought up headaches, which honestly seems to be the case with about 99% of meds out there. I’d love to dig a little deeper into exactly which part of the brain this hits—maybe ask her more about that next time!

It seems like that's just standard with pretty much any medication since they all hit certain parts of the brain, but I'd love to dig a little deeper into how exactly it works if anyone knows more.

It’s a pretty reliable med, super common for doctors to prescribe here in the States—they even give it to kids sometimes.
If you're feeling better, there's no reason to stop 😉
Just make sure you keep up with those regular check-ins with your primary care doctor and your psychiatrist, obviously.

I’ve been switched over to Asentra since they’re currently out of Zoloft, so I'm starting on half a tablet tomorrow.

Just hang in there, you should start feeling the benefits of the meds in about three or four weeks.👍

If things don't start looking up by then, it might be worth talking about adjusting your prescription—just make sure you clear everything with your primary care physician first.
