Sports are crazy!!

Back when I was a teenager—high school, I think—there used to be this column in a local sports and trivia magazine.
Just for the hell of it...

The only things that actually stuck in my brain were:

"chess assist"
"a free kick in boxing"

I used to make fun of all the others, too..
So, you creative types, feel free to throw some more ridiculous ones into this thread.. even stupider if you can manage it👍

There’s this insane sport that actually exists, though I haven't seen it on TV in ages: hill climbing on dirt bikes. They find some massive, steep incline, mark out distances—like 30 feet, 60 feet, 90 feet—and then a bunch of riders just charge straight up until they can't anymore. In about 95% of cases, that climb ends in a brutal wipeout on the way back down. It's absolute madness. 😁

I don't see the point in making up some fake, ridiculous sport when there's already plenty of mindless nonsense out there. You really have to see those motorcycle stunts in person to believe how crazy they are.

I know exactly what you’re getting at, though I haven't tuned into ESPN to watch any of that in quite some time...😉
