Spanish and French rock bands

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for something a bit more intense, maybe leaning more toward heavy metal 😁 Spanish specifically... I really love the language and can understand a decent amount of it, so I'd love to dive into some bands from that culture. Hopefully, someone can point me in the right direction!

I suppose most people have at least heard of Noir Désir... though I'm not entirely sure what became of them lately, given those old rumors about the lead singer's domestic issues and whether the band just fell apart because of it... not that it would be a massive loss to the scene, per se, but still... 😁the language is quite lovely, so certain tracks tend to sound rather pleasant...

I’ve always found M83 to be such a pleasant band to listen to—they definitely have that laid-back, Southern vibe, though I guess they aren't exactly high-energy enough to get a real party started...
