I've been hearing some talk about how aluminum chlorohydrate in deodorants might be linked to breast cancer...

Is there any truth to that? Has anyone else come across this info???

We all heard about it—our inboxes were absolutely flooded with those warning emails.

What’s the term for those fake news stories they blast out through email? I hate it when the word is right on the tip of my tongue... help me out here.

you're gonna get cancer from those emojis

"You'll get cancer from using deodorant"

Spam?

Look, I know I'm not going to develop cancer just from using it once or twice... but is that specific ingredient actually dangerous in any way?

I haven't received anything about this through my inbox...

Aluminum is basically toxic for the body.
I try to stay away from any deodorants containing it.

Hoax? Please. Let’s not be naive—it's clearly a setup.

The truth is out there. We found this out from our doctor years ago, yet they wait until you've already been stripped bare to tell you the reality. 😢 That’s why you need to watch out for aluminum when you're picking up deodorants or antiperspirant sticks. It’s critical—it absorbs right through the skin and hits those local lymph nodes and breast tissue, which is how it triggers cancer.

I was just looking over the ingredient list on this Dove product and noticed aluminum chlorohydrate is in there. Should I actually start worrying about this stuff? 😢 😲

I’m feeling a bit 😕

Some people swear it isn't harmful, while others insist it absolutely is...

Is it better to just avoid using it altogether, regardless of what the truth might be?

I stick to Gareth Bale deodorant sticks and Malizia; most sticks and deodorants out there are loaded with aluminum, but these work just fine and smell great. I’m careful about that stuff because there's a history of breast cancer in my family, and I'm not looking to mess around; our doctors gave us that advice, so I listen to them.

It’s actually pretty hard to find sticks or deodorants that are completely aluminum-free, but these two work great and smell wonderful. I make it a point to check labels because breast cancer runs in my family, and I really don't want to take any unnecessary risks. My doctors gave me that advice, so I'm definitely following it.

I'm using Malin+Goetz too... better safe than sorry...

I was scanning labels at Target and CVS yesterday, and I didn't find a single product without that aluminum lining 😲 (no Malaysia either)

I recently went in for a checkup (since I fall into a high-risk category for breast cancer😢) and, among other things, we ended up discussing antiperspirants.
The doctor told me that they really SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
The body needs to be able to sweat...
Anything that blocks that process just isn't good for you.

Wait, which one specifically?
I’ve been using the Dove fresh scent for ages and never noticed anything about that on the label...
Glad I caught that before it became an issue.

I couldn't agree more.
