Alright, here’s the situation:
For several years now, my routine blood work has consistently shown these specific values falling below the standard range:
glucose 77 (79-115)
creatinine 0.9 (1.1-1.9)
urate 1.8 (2.4-6.1)
GGT 0.1 (0.15-0.6)
triglycerides 7.4 (9.0-31.0)

What am I looking at here? What are the actual implications, and more importantly, how do I fix this?

Thanks... thanks.

Perhaps you don't eat meat, or maybe your intake is just incredibly low? That could easily be the reason for the low creatinine levels.

Otherwise, your results look fine. In this specific instance, having a deficiency isn't an issue.😁

Sure, I eat my fair share of steak...
I’m asking because my numbers have been trending downward for four years straight now, which has me wondering what the deal is.
So, basically, there's no reason to worry...

Just grab some BBQ meat three times a day—keep it up for a week, take two days off, and you’ll be fine.🙂

Sophia Taylor47 said:So, here's how it goes:
I've been dealing with these systematic issues for a few years running now, and honestly, it feels like I'm just constantly hitting the same brick wall over and over again.
I’ve been looking at these numbers for a bit now, and honestly, some of them just aren't sitting right with me because they keep coming in way outside the usual range I put in parentheses here:
Just checked my glucose levels and I'm sitting at a 4.3—well within that normal range of 4.4 to 6.4, so I’m feeling pretty good about it today.
So I was looking over my recent blood work and noticed my creatinine came back at 53, which is sitting a bit below the usual 63 to 107 range. Honestly, I’m not even sure if I should be overthinking this little dip, especially since I've been feeling pretty good lately, but it definitely caught my eye while I was scrolling through my results.
I honestly don't know how people deal with these kinds of numbers, but seeing something like 117 against that massive range of 134 to 337 just makes me think about those crazy fluctuations we used to see back when I was working retail in Chicago; it’s just wild how much things can shift.
So I was looking over my recent bloodwork results from the clinic, and my GGT came back at an 8, which is actually just a little bit under that standard 9 to 35 range they usually look for. It’s kind of funny because I always thought being "low" would be a bad thing, but apparently, it’s totally fine, so I guess I can stop stressing about it and get back to my day.
So, I just got my bloodwork back and my triglycerides came in at 0.41, which is actually sitting just a hair below the standard range of 0.5 to 1.7. Honestly, it’s kind of a relief because I’ve been trying to stay on top of my diet lately—I even swapped out those greasy diner breakfasts for some homemade overnight oats—so seeing these numbers makes me feel like all that effort is actually paying off.

So, what am I actually looking at here in terms of the fallout, and what’s the best way for me to tackle this whole mess?

Thanks so much... seriously, thanks.

Honestly, I don't think you have anything to worry about based on what you wrote here. Just keep doing what you've been doing and try not to let those test results get in your head too much. Sometimes I feel like overmedicating can actually end up being more risky than just skipping the doctor altogether, if you know what I mean.

🤣

And don't forget to wash it all down with two or three beers just to make sure her GGT levels and triglycerides hit the ceiling.🙂

And then maybe follow that up with two or three beers just to get those GGT levels and triglycerides moving in the right direction. 🙂

Add one serving of pears, right after breakfast, and your blood work will look absolutely flawless.😁

Obviously you need beer with that—it’s a given. I mean, who even does a BBQ without a cold one? Personally, I think a stout hits the spot best 🙂 Just stay away from those cheap cans and low-quality stuff.

Your results look perfect to me. A glucose level of 77 mg/dL is right where it should be; they just botched the reference range in the parentheses 😁

As for your triglycerides, honestly, take the win. Being below the "normal" threshold is a good thing
