I am seriously counting down the days until this drops! πŸ™

Has anyone caught a glimpse of this yet? What’s the verdict?

Just look at that cast... honestly, it’s either going to be a total masterpiece or a massive flop. πŸ™„
Either way, I'm hitting the theater... looks like it's coming to the States on October 13th?! Man... that's a long wait...

Has anyone actually checked this out yet? Like, what’s the vibe?

It’s not even a movie, it’s more like a TV series episode. Total junk, but honestly? The fun kind of junk. I bet the actual movie is just gonna be a massive middle finger to high art... which is awesome.

Think low-budget, 70s-style redneck road action. If you want the gold standard for that genre, you go with *Smokey and the Bandit*. This thingβ€”it’s got that Confederate flag on the hood and they call the car the General Lee... man, I can't wait. I'm not looking for a masterpiece here; I'm just looking for a fun, cheesy redneck night in front of the TV.

Oh, come on now! It’s been like a hundred years since we've seen a real Burt Reynolds flick... and let's be honest, those old movies he did with Lana Turner were total trashβ€”I mean, she should've had the lead role, right? But Burt Reynolds and Willie Nelson in the same movie? Now THAT sounds absolutely awesome.

Where can I find a copy?πŸ™‚

That was actually a TV series! You should try hunting for it on some old file-sharing sitesβ€”or honestly, just keep an eye on local cable channels, they run reruns all the time... though probably not on those big fancy networks like ABC or NBC. Actually, hey, maybe a big movie remake could trigger a rerun somewhere!

I'd say The Dukes of Hazzard is to Smokey and the Bandit what Miami Vice is to Dirty Harryβ€”you know what I mean? It’s just pure fun. I've always had a massive soft spot for those gritty, high-octane road movies... total guilty pleasure stuff, but man, I love 'em!

I think I saw him on some German channel about ten years ago, though it was dubbed over πŸ™„. I haven't actually seen it on DVD despite it being released. I don't have high-speed internet at home 😒.

Man, watching Burt Reynolds tearing it up in that Pontiac Trans Am back in the day... when I was a kid, I thought that car was the absolute peak of engineering... yeah 😬... and Sally was definitely easy on the eyes 😍

Let's drift into off-topic territory for a bit, shall we? πŸ€”

Honestly, the movie was a total letdown. It wasn't even close to being as good as the show...

The only thing worth watching in the whole flick was the car.
