It’s a depressing thought, isn't it?

I actually found myself in a situation remarkably similar—if you can call it that—to the scene where Lester is being affectionate with the character played by Mena Suvari. Right at the moment when Mena is ready to take things to the next level for the first time, he says exactly that, and he just stops. I had a similar moment where I was supposed to sleep with a girl, but I found myself stuck in that same Lester-esque mindset. You just have to wait for the right timing; otherwise, it feels wrong.

It’s honestly a bit eerie how much Lester and I overlap in those moments. Though, obviously, we are two very different people... Perhaps we just happened to stumble into similar circumstances, or perhaps our general outlooks on life are more alike than I care to admit... Hmm...
