Isn't this typically managed with specific topical creams? If so, which ones would you recommend? Are they readily available at any local CVS or Walgreens, or do I need a prescription? thanks

Every single summer, I end up with these dark spots popping up right above my upper lip that honestly look just like a mustache, which is totally not the vibe I'm going for 👎 envy me! My dermatologist actually suggested using Pigmentnorm, and it seriously cleared everything up in about ten days. I just got back from a trip to Miami after two weeks of soaking up the sun, and you know what? Not a single dark spot in sight. Yup!! So if you're dealing with the same thing, this might be your saving grace

So, were you actually using this cream all through the winter, or did you just start slathering it on now that those spots have already started popping up?

I’ve still got these lingering acne spots left over; there aren't many, but they’re definitely noticeable 😠
. Does anyone know of any plant-based remedies that actually work for this sort of thing?
My dermatologist is driving me up the wall—she acts like she’s some kind of gatekeeper, insisting I come in for another appointment every single time, even though I’m basically paying her just to tell me which cream to buy at CVS 🙄

Honestly, these spots are leftovers from last winter, so I actually started applying it before my recent trip to Florida—because in the past, those areas would always end up getting way darker than the rest of my skin once the sun hit them.

Gatineau actually has some options in their Whitening Plan line—they even have probiotic versions if that’s your thing.

But look, you really shouldn't be messing with those brightening creams while the sun is this intense. You need to be incredibly diligent with SPF, otherwise, you're just asking for dark spots to get worse.

As for actual skin lightening? Wait until September or later.

You could always try an IPL photo-rejuvenation treatment to clear things up, but again, wait until the summer heat dies down.🙂
