Unmotivated Americans are always chasing the next big diet craze. The issue with most of them is that you either starve yourself, eat the exact same thing every day, or go completely broke trying to afford all that organic steak. It’s no wonder people end up cheating on their diets, giving up after seventy-two hours, or just spiraling back into binge eating once the initial willpower fades. Is there really nothing left to do besides throwing in the towel and telling your friends it's just a "genetic" issue?

Or maybe there's a tiny glimmer of hope?

There is—it's the new "BABY MIRACLE DIET"! As we get older, you might have noticed that most toddlers stay pretty fit. After staring at a cup of black coffee and a carrot, it hit me that it might be their diet. It isn't expensive, and the food is varied and high quality.

Good luck!

DAY ONE

BREAKFAST
A single-egg omelet. A slice of toast with jam. Using your fingers, eat two bites of the omelet and toss the rest on the floor. Take one bite of the toast, then smear the jam all over your face and clothes.

LUNCH
Four crayons (any color), a handful of chips, and a glass of milk. Take three gulps, then spill the rest.

SNACK
A stick, two quarters, and a dime, along with four sips of lukewarm beer.

DINNER
Fry some toast and throw it on the kitchen floor.

DAY TWO

BREAKFAST
Pick up yesterday's toast from the kitchen floor and eat it. Drink half a bottle of vanilla extract or a packet of food coloring.

LUNCH
Half a tube of "Pulsating Pink" lipstick and a cigarette (you have to eat it, not smoke it). One ice cube, if you feel like it.

AFTERNOON SNACK
Lick a lollipop until it gets sticky. Walk outside and toss it into the dirt. Pick it back up and suck on it until it's clean again. Then bring it inside and drop it on the carpet.

DINNER
A pebble or some raw beans you've been keeping in your left nostril. Pour some iced tea over mashed potatoes. Eat it with a spoon.

DAY THREE

BREAKFAST
Two pancakes with plenty of syrup. Eat them with your hands, then wipe your fingers off on your hair. A glass of milk. Drink half, then fill the glass with pancakes. After breakfast, find yesterday's lollipop on the carpet, lick off the lint, and hide it in the cushion of your fanciest armchair.

LUNCH
Three matchsticks, peanut butter, and PB&J. Spit on the floor between bites. Spill a glass of milk across the table and lap it up.

DINNER
A bowl of ice cream, a handful of chips, some wine, and coffee.

FINAL DAY

BREAKFAST
A quarter tube of toothpaste (any flavor), a chunk of soap, and some olives. Pour a glass of milk over a bowl of cereal and add half a cup of sugar. Once the cereal gets soft, drink the milk and feed the soggy flakes to the dog.

LUNCH
Eat the crumbs off the kitchen floor and the living room carpet. Find that lollipop and finish it off.

DINNER
A glass of spaghetti and chocolate milk. Leave a meatball on the
plate. For dessert: mascara.

Oh, come on now...
But honestly, how are you even supposed to tell if someone is considered overweight or not? Does anyone actually know the specific math behind how weight relates to height?
I’m always leaning toward a lighter diet, though I don't exactly feel heavy right now, but I am curious about what the actual average would be, you know, like an ideal weight range...
Does anyone here happen to know anything about that?

Look, if they’re shaped like a square—or even worse, a perfect circle—then the situation is pretty obvious. ☕

I’m always down for eating lighter, but I don't exactly feel fat right now. Still, I'm curious—what's considered the average, you know, "ideal" weight?
Anyone got any info on this?

Girl, you live on nothing but low-fat yogurt. Is that why your sense of humor is so broken or what?

Honestly, that weight sounds pretty much perfect—just enough to sit on a sturdy oak bench without worrying about the legs snapping under you.

But if you're a little too heavy? You crack the nut, shatter the bench you're sitting on, and trigger an earthquake so massive it shifts the entire rotation of the Earth.😁

That's because it crawls right up... somewhere.🙂>

I've been tracking my macros for three days now and honestly, no matter how I look at it, I feel like my mineral intake is a bit off balance?

There you go! Minerals make you gain weight. Problem solved.

Oh, sure. If a walnut mysteriously vanishes into thin air, I guess we'll just call that a "crack" in the shell, right? ☕

And hey, vitamins? They'll pack on the pounds too. You might want to stick to that healthy lifestyle while you can still squeeze through a standard doorway!

The ultimate diet hack:
you can eat whatever your heart desires, provided you do it right in front of people who are overweight and naked.

Anyone got the scoop on this?

Well, you take your height and divide it by your weight—or vice versa, I think—and then you get a number, hmmm... there’s a whole chart for it... but honestly, I totally blanked on it, sorry!🙂

Weight divided by height squared, or the other way around.

Is an ideal weight really just about height and pounds? Not quite, because even a genius couldn't tell from those two numbers alone how much is actually body fat versus lean mass. No chart out there can truly give you the full picture.

I have a sneaking suspicion that’s where the catch is hidden:
"Lick a lollipop until it gets all sticky. Walk out the door and smash it into dust. Then go pick up the pieces and suck on them until it’s clean again."

Frank Lee6 said:The idea of an "ideal weight" isn't just about how much you weigh compared to how tall you are, because honestly, those two numbers don't tell you anything about whether that mass is muscle or just extra padding, so looking at a chart is basically a waste of time.

Exactly, BMI isn't the holy grail for seeing what's actually going on with your physique, though it’s not completely useless either...
since we all know muscle weighs more than fat, BMI ends up being a pretty flawed metric, and if you want a real look at where you stand, you really need to check your body fat percentage using something like:

ps: if you want a free body analysis, just let me know... 😉

I suppose this is where they’ve gone to hide:

It looks like we’re standing right on the edge of a massive scientific breakthrough... 😉 😁
