Gus van Sant - Last Days

... those final few days of Kurt Cobain's life. I've been sitting here wondering for quite a while now who might actually step up to tackle this. Looking at how things went with Elephant, there's a decent chance we’re looking at a deeply meditative, somewhat hermetic piece of cinema—the kind of movie that probably won't be a massive crowd-pleaser. I'm mostly just curious about what angle they'll choose... what's going to be the driving force behind their take on what Kurt did.

There was really only one angle in his life, the heroin angle... 😁 It seems you can't even figure out how to drop a link to imdb , though I suppose it doesn't matter since Asia Argento is in the film, being the daughter of Darie Argent... 🙂

In his life, there was really just one way of looking at things—the Hero angle.

There was actually a stretch of time in his life where Hero wasn't even in the picture. It isn't the cause, really... more like the consequence.
