The new FIS World Cup season is finally underway.

And wouldn't you know it, Lindsey Vonn is heading back to the slopes. πŸ‘

She’s starting at number 11 today.

So far, the Champion is out, but Pearson is currently sitting in first after those intermediate times.

GOOD LUCK JANE!!!! πŸ‘‹

Lindsey Vonn aiming for 4th.

She's trailing Anja Pearson by 1.35.

πŸ‘‹

Her skiing was flawless, though she definitely played it safe out there...

Way to go, Jane.

Come on, Janey, go! πŸ‘‹ πŸ‘‹

Every single time, she just blows me away.
The way she glides down the course is so effortless and smooth.
It’s like she’s one with her skis and the mountain itself.

(I'm starting to think I look a bit like Bruno Kovacevic πŸ™„ 😁 ).

Dude, stop... nobody can pull off sounding like him.

BTW, today is actually a decent day. πŸ‘ He isn't acting all high and mighty or lecturing everyone on basic skiing skills. πŸ™„

Maybe it's just because he has those co-commentators helping him out. 😁

Anyway, we might see Jane soon too. πŸ‘

I guess an 8th place finish isn't bad at all for her first race after being out for 😲 19 months.

Next stop is the Aspen slalom and two slaloms... I can't wait, honestly.

Tomorrow we'll be watching Ivek to see if he manages to hit any more holes in the course.😁

Once more, BRAVO JANICE!!!!! πŸ‘

lalala😁 😎

Technically, she was incredible, but I’d say stay cautiousβ€”she wasn't really pushing her limits or hitting top speed there. Lindsey is playing it smart, though. She’s definitely outmaneuvering the competition.

I’m genuinely curious to see how she handles the downhill and the US Ski Team giant slalom.

You can check the full race schedule here (assuming the snow conditions hold up and everything goes according to plan)β€” www.fisski.com.

And tomorrow, it's Bode's turn.

😒

Fair enough, but we're still just getting warmed up this season.
