Alexander Albon is essentially the new Mr. Saturday. However, if we look at the progression compared to last year—when George Russell left Nicholas Latifi in the dust by 0.6 seconds during Bahrain—Albon has actually stepped things up even further, pulling away from Latifi by a massive 0.9 seconds. It seems quite clear that Williams Racing has secured a significantly superior driver. ☕
Lewis Hamilton was lagging by nearly 0.7 seconds in yesterday's qualifying, which is a noticeable jump from the less than 0.4 seconds he was down by last year.
