Packed to the brim

First, I grabbed some tracks online—not exactly smart, I know, but I had to—then I saw that clip you posted. She called him fat, but then lately, there’s this song on the radio featuring Arsen... and man, that sound just blew me away.

The whole album is solid. I’d love to catch them live sometime.

Honestly, I was just sitting here waiting for them to tour through San Francisco this winter.

There’s this club in San Francisco—Hey Joe—where basically everyone has been playing all winter. Famous acts, local bands, whoever. I was really counting on them showing up so I could finally hear them in person.
And nothing.
They play well, sure, but they seem pretty lazy to me.

Do these guys even play shows anywhere anymore??????????

They were actually a solid, promising band a few years back, but I haven't heard a peep from them in ages. They played a handful of gigs at the local dive bar downtown, but their last show was a long time ago.
As far as the original lineup goes, Daniel Biffle is the only one left standing.

A bit too much Azra for my taste, but they've got something special about them... I caught them playing at a Chicago Cubs game about a year or so ago and there were maybe 27 of us at the show (if I recall correctly)

They definitely give off Haustor vibes, sure, but I wouldn't say they sound like Azra.

I heard things went south up in Cleveland or maybe Cakovec, I can't quite remember. Honestly, looks like that Biffel guy is just some total blowhard who got swept up in his first wave of fame and let it go straight to his head. Anyway, I’ve got both albums and they both suck to me. They feel like a total breath of fresh air though, and if you ask me, the originals aren't anything special—you can't even really pin down any specific influences, especially with how much they lean on the keys...

Is it just me, or is their whole vibe basically that one song where the chorus goes, "If anyone knows, George knows"? I seriously can't seem to run into George anywhere to get a straight answer on this... It feels like a total rip-off of Haustor, but hey, if you're gonna steal someone's style, at least pick some legendary American bands to mimic...

Man, I used to have such a massive crush on Daniel Biffel... seriously. I actually spent my days listening to his band while they were still practicing away in some tiny apartment in New York City 😁

Hopefully, they've leveled up by now 😁

.Oh yeah,... I totally forgot to mention... they didn't mess up, it was just some drunk guy who started messing with them, then insulting them, then getting physical, and he ended up throwing a bottle at them. There wasn't even a security guard around, so they just refused to play anymore...
