Maybe you should just drop your own list so we can decide whether to praise you or tear you apart??

Personally, I’ll stick to one hit after another—if anyone has a problem with that, they can head over to some trendy hipster lounge in downtown Chicago to listen to repetitive dance beats 🙄 or maybe find an old-school classic rock station for a healthy dose of good old hard rock 🙄

1. Ramones - What do I get
2. Clash - Janie Jones
3. Ramones - Sheena is a punk rocker
4. New York Dolls - Looking for a Kiss
5. Stiff Little Fingers - Alternative Ulster
6. Jon Spencer be - Dynamite lover
7. Mudhoney - touch me I'm sick
8. Rolling Stones Discography
9. David Bowie - Heroes
10. Ramones - Punk Rock Anthem
11. Joy Division
12. Sex Pistols
13. Dictators - California Sun
14. Rancid
15. Screaching Weasel
16. Lagwagon
17. The Cramps
18. The Donnas - that one thing, I don't know what it's called🙄
19. Sonic Youth - Goo
20. Lou Reed - Vicious
21. The Fall😁
22. Stooges - I wanna be your dog
23. Pixies - Debaser
24. The Vaselines - Happy place
25. T-Rex - 20th century boy
26. Misfits

👋 🙂 🙂 🙂

And no, I wasn't born to be a DJ 🙂

First thing I'd do is put on "Waiting for my man" by Velvet Underground.
So, what's the deal? Fifteen minutes and absolutely nothing has happened. Seriously.
I'm just looking to drop "Pixies" - "Gouge away."
Honestly, I’d probably just let some bouncers loose in the hall to let everyone know the party is officially over. Maybe then people would actually think twice before showing up to dance to some anonymous DJ who nobody has even heard of. 😁

Then—total silence for about 15 minutes. Just dead air.
After that? I’d drop "Pixies - Pixies" on them.
And then—getta crowd of security guards to march into the hall to let everyone know the party is officially over. That'll teach people to think twice before showing up to some random anonymous DJ set! 😁

Seriously though, if you throw some trippy visuals on the video beam, you’ve basically got a masterpiece on your hands!!

If it were me, I’d play...
... Bohemian Like You by Dandy Warhol
Thumbthumping by Chumbawamba
Loneliness by Timo Maas
Hey Boy Hey Girl by Underworld & Chemical Brothers
Song 2 by Blur
Let's Go Crazy by Prince... just kidding, guys!
Ring My Bell by some disco diva
Heart of Glass
Daddy Cool
Twist and Shout
Something by Sean Paul...
Ray of Light by Madonna
Groove Is in the Heart by Deee-Lite
That one naughty song from Dusk Till Dawn
Last Night by The Strokes—just because it’s a total classic
Something by Boy George
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper
Mala Vida by Manu Chao
Sky by Sonique
Indigo by Moloko
Anything by The Cure
Blue Monday by New Order
Beautiful Stranger by Madonna
One Step Beyond by Madness
A Little Less Conversation by Elvis
Naughty Girl by Beyoncé

Totally cheesy, the absolute cheesiest—I admit it!! Cheesy music for a cheesy party.

Nah, wait—I’m actually ditching Sonic, Sean Paul (who is honestly just *too* much, though Beyoncé stays forever), and swapping them out for Yeah Yeah Yeahs—anything really! Plus some Lemon Tree, Blister in the Sun, and whatever Iggy Pop track I'm feeling. Yeah. Probably. That's the plan!

+Nina Simone, "My Baby Just Cares for Me"—man, that's the vibe! It’s what you put on when those guys bail to go grab some beers.

It’s just Jazzanova - Remixes—that double CD set. That’s really all there is to it. A group hanging out on the beach in the morning until noon would be perfectly happy with that vibe.
For later on—we’re looking at Carl Cox - Live in Crowbar nightclub, followed by Kruder & Dorfmeister.

My apologies for being MIA when you guys were calling my name—I just haven't had much of a chance to hang out on the Forum lately.
Regarding the list, I can certainly rattle off a few tracks from memory that I’d personally love to hear playing, though—given how much work goes into actual mixing and curating a cohesive flow—I simply don't have the bandwidth right now to properly sequence everything... 😢 😢 😢

I can't think of any more at the moment... I suppose this list is getting a bit long-winded and perhaps slightly monotonous for some, but at least I didn't include any psy-trance.

If anyone is interested, feel free to mix it. If I find the inclination, I might just put something together at home and send over a playlist.

It looks like crimsonjackal8 is the only one here who actually knows how to party 🙂. Listen, people, this list is actually better than my suggestion (though only by a hair, granted 😁). When you show up to a party, you want to jump around, not try to look cool dancing to freaking Faithless and Underworld. (Don't get me wrong, that's just for warming up...) I can see myself as that person with the bow in the "rock" smiley face at the end of the list.

Come on, kid—I see what you're doing here... 😉 Don't go exposing my teenage years just yet. 🙂 😁

Honestly, I was more into Christian Death from the playlists... Rozz Williams was everything. 😍
