That movie really hit me. It was my first time hearing about those "forbidden" gospels, and ever since, I can't get those few lines from Tomin out of my head...
And Kiernan the priest is just gorgeous.

So, you into priests in general?😁
I once saw Gabriel Byrne playing an angel in some Irish flick with a horse. He and the horse lived in this tiny apartment, just a little kitchenette—super cramped.😁

But your handle actually reminded me of one of my favorite characters
Back when I was riding through the creek toward the Venus woods at midnight with Merlin's help, Ygraina.🙏

I’ve always had a soft spot for that fine, wet sand... though honestly, even the stuff from the Mojave isn't bad—except for the way it manages to find its way into every single microscopic crevice and pore imaginable...😁 😁

All sand is pretty good, with one glaring exception: construction grade cement sand.🙂
Let it get wherever it wants to go...😁

Sand?🙂
what happens when it's "the sands of time, drifting away, la la la"?
😛 stay safe out there, sending love👋

It’s interesting how the movie treats the Gospel of Tom as if it were some brand-new revelation.
The Gospel of Tom was actually unearthed in Nag Hammadi back in 1947. It isn't even written in Aramaic; it's in Coptic, dating back to roughly 200 AD.
The content aligns perfectly with Gnostic teachings. It’s well-documented that the Church condemned the Gnostics, the Bogomils, the Manichaeans, and anyone else who dared to center faith around the individual rather than the institutional Church.

Beyond that, certain passages were stripped from the New Testament later on—likely during the same era—for those same exact reasons.

Sorry for the off-topic post.

I’m not quite sure how everyone else felt about it, but personally, I thought the movie was fantastic. It’s not that I’m particularly religious—if you asked me, I’d probably lean more toward being an atheist—but man, the story just really resonated with me. What did you all think? Out of their recent stuff, I’d say Cudoviste is definitely one of the standout films, though it’s incredibly intense and pretty merciless in its execution. 😁

Sherry said:Don't know about you guys, but I thought it was great. Not exactly a believer myself—could probably pass for an atheist—but the story really hit home. What'd you all think? Out of the recent stuff, Miracle is one of the few that actually felt brutal.😁

Is that some kind of ST (Seattle) thing?
Watch yourself. This forum is crawling with angry
and dangerous Seattle women!

Thread carefully! 😁

Sending love to boldeagle3!

Well.. let's just say.. Gabriel Byrne is the star of the show, but there's definitely a spirit haunting certain parts... hmmm... seen it all before 🙂

Honestly, Gabriel Byrne is just a total SEXY icon in this movie. 😍

What on earth is going on with the music and the service? It’s getting pretty intense.

At this rate, even Bozanic is going to end up looking like a total heartthrob.

👋I have to say, though, those jeans look really good on Gabriel. 👋

I’d be a believer in a heartbeat.

👋

Honestly, the church would basically become my second home 👋 👋

My soul would be cleansed of all its sins. I’d hand over everything I own—not that I have much, 😕—to charity. I’d be a few steps closer to heaven instantly, basically becoming a local martyr for the whole town... 🙂
Is that an exaggeration? Hmm... maybe 👋

Sherry said:Setting things on fire in a church or at a mass? That's just... wow. Honestly, that sounds pretty terrifying to me.

I don't know, I just got so incredibly worked up over J. Phoenix in Quills when he was playing Pop...

Before that, I saw him in Gladiator, and I mean, he was good, but he wasn't quite as... mmmm... as he was in Quills.

I'm not exactly a religious person, by the way... 😁

'Crime Scene Investigation' is on tonight 🙂

A whole bunch of Byrne again 😍

Finally, my day spent feeling absolutely miserable is actually going to peak. Even though I've been dealing with this cold, I still managed to take a bath, exfoliate, and—of course—wax my legs, just so I can settle in for some relaxation with Gabriel 😍

I guess you could say I've officially become desperate 😵

👋 It wouldn't be a disaster... everything makes sense if you think about it🙂
Plus, she even shaved her legs... Gabriel is going to be thrilled... I just know it😉

Kevin Wood22 said:......saint and sinner, is that the title of the movie playing in your head?
I mean, Douglas Myers6??? Maybe an angel prefers boys over seasoned adult film stars?

Well, now... I think your argument is a bit weak, don't you? Because, at the end of the day... I'm certainly no adult star, and calling Gabriel Byrne an "angel" isn't exactly a crime... so, there it is...

So now you’ve gone and picked this weirdo stage name, kind of like that bitch The Lords of the Rings
a now, sorry if that’s just some freak coincidence
