Bands you absolutely disdain

DISCLAIMER first of all: this isn't some polite debate about bands whose values or legacies you actually want to discuss. This is about the bands you disdain—the ones whose very existence and discography give you actual psychological distress.

To kick things off, here are a few of my "favorites":

Linkin Park (I don't even have the energy to comment)
Nickelback (God, just make them stop... slowly and painfully)
Radiohead (I know everyone treats them like gods, but I just can't stand them)
Good Charlotte, Sum 41, POD, etc. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Crazy Town (they’re either gross, ugly, or their one "hit" is just a cheap sample)
Creed (that Christian rock that makes you want to end up in hell)
Pearl Jam
Papa Roach
And the list goes on...

Honestly, looking at this list of bands from OVH makes my stomach turn.

That’s exactly why I added a DISCLAIMER... I really don't care if someone gets seriously offended because I disdain their favorite band, nor am I going to argue with them—and I certainly won't be bickering with people who disdain the bands I actually enjoy.

Actually, I think you made a solid choice. To be honest, I used to be totally over Radiohead too, mostly because everyone loved them just so they could say, "Oh, I listen to Radiohead..." and suddenly they felt all sophisticated and cool, like, "Yeah, we have great taste and appreciate real quality music." ...but then I actually sat down, listened to every single album a bunch of times, and realized they're absolute masterpieces and I was just being silly. 😁

On another note... Coldplay is just pathetic. (total poser band)

It’s pretty obvious you don't really know how to listen to music... both of them have put out songs in their careers that are honestly mind-blowing (granted, they’ve done some stupid stuff along the way, specifically Pearl Jam 😉) ... but it seems like you formed some silly little prejudice against these bands after just one listen (or maybe you just find them ugly and repulsive)... so, I’d suggest you actually try listening to music without all those preconceived notions.

In my personal blacklist of bands that I absolutely cannot stand, I think I might have forgotten the absolute number one at the top:
Savage Garden (seriously, who even knows them? listening to their music feels like wasting two and a half years of your life per song)
