I haven't actually seen "Fast & Furious", but seeing her cast in it definitely piques my interest. I thought she was absolutely incredible in Resident Evil; she plays this elite government specialist who is undeniably hot, yet you actually believe she could kick ass. It’s not even surprising, considering in "Girlfight" she played a girl who takes up boxing. She's cool and by cool i mean totally sweet! 😁

I actually really dug Resident Evil. Honestly, watching those gorgeous zombies lunging everywhere while people scramble to get away was such a trip. It was easily one of the funniest movies I've seen in a minute. I almost wet myself.
Did I say *almost*? Well...

The movie is fine, I guess, but it lacks the depth of the actual games—where you don't even see Alice, you get characters like Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield instead.
Then in the second installment, you have Leon, and by the third, it's back to Jill along with some other random characters wandering through the woods.
Without a doubt, my absolute favorite character is Leon S. Kennedy.
I am seriously counting down the days until the fifth game drops; it’s going to be incredible on the PS3 and the new Xbox.
In the third game, they stay within the city limits before heading into the forest, yet in the movie, Alice is stuck out in some desert wasteland—what on earth does that have to do with the forest or Raccoon City???

The trailer for the third installment should be dropping either today or tomorrow. Once it's out, please share your thoughts here—and since the "Resident Evil" franchise has such a massive following, I expect the discussion to get pretty intense 🙂.

I'm in complete agreement on all counts.
The first one was absolute garbage. I’m not particularly a fan of Michelle Rodriguez, except for Grindhouse, which I’m actually looking forward to. Here, she’s just unbearable playing some mindless bitch. 🙄 And Milla Jovovich from The Fifth Element is equally unwatchable; it feels like she was forced into this role. Same goes for Kate Winslet in her action roles—I just can't see her as an action heroine.

Credit where credit is due, though: if she manages to pull off those stunts in that ridiculous dress, it's impressive—even if the fight scenes are among the most idiotic things I've ever seen. That kung fu jump and the bloody dog...

Then there's that pathetic amnesia plot, which is just a stolen monster trope ripped straight from the original Resident Evil series. As for the zombies, they feel like they wandered out of 28 Days Later, but that movie isn't even a zombie flick, let alone horror. 👎

I'm certain Uwe Boll would have filmed a hundred times better than this Paul W.S. Anderson guy, who was already responsible for the Alien vs. Predator disaster.

And the sequel? Aside from recycling more ideas from the games and shoehorning in characters from the franchise, the plot is even stupider, the fights are pathetic, the acting is poor, the special effects are weak, and the whole thing is just boring.

I mean, what do you guys expect? The guy basically made a total B-movie and cast some low-budget actors—so, I guess we shouldn't be surprised if we don't see Kate Winslet or Leonardo DiCaprio leading the charge and pulling in $2 billion at the box office. 🤣

Finally, an actual, faithful adaptation of the games... 😁 Instead of all that nonsense—loose interpretations, stolen concepts, and just peddling franchises for a quick buck.

Silent Hill just gets dumber with every single sequel. I can't wait for the third one to see how they screw everything up this time.
If they had given Roman the movie and let him do things his way, I think the whole thing would have turned out much differently. ☕
