Even though Kimi didn't snag the championship, he still walked away with the "Driver of the Year" title, pulling in 31% of the votes right over Montoya at 20%. Honestly, that's the absolute bare minimum he deserved after grinding out this whole season in that ancient piece of junk

I’m on the same page—she definitely earned it, even if calling that car "old" is a massive stretch.

Honestly, he earned it.
Look, I don't even like the guy—really don't—but he absolutely crushed it this season.
He was squeezing every bit of life out of that Mercedes junk heap and, frankly, he outclassed Coulter every single time.
Alonso definitely takes second place, though.
