Rob Zombie's latest horror flick...

I'm usually not big on those ultra-gory slashers, but this one actually hit the spot for me.
The plot isn't your typical genre trope—it keeps you hooked from start to finish. There’s a bit of everything too; even if nothing is a pure jump scare, there are definitely moments that'll rattle you. You get some blood, some weird "asylum" vibes, and then things get genuinely creepy toward the end...
Just when you think you've seen all the tricks, boom—another element pops up...😉
The ending is a little predictable, sure, but it doesn't ruin the overall experience.
Visually and sonically, the movie is killer. It might not be the absolute king of modern horror, but it's definitely worth your time.

It’s more of a house than a hall.

I haven't seen it yet. Is this playing in theaters here or just on DVD?

No clue—I just watched a high-quality digital rip online.

Oh, and when you finally watch it, keep an eye out for that one scene where Otis presses the gun against the cop's head while the camera pulls back... it just keeps pulling back... and back... then it stops and just hangs there... feels like it goes on forever...

Yeah, it just dropped on DVD—so it should be hitting stores here in the States pretty soon...

I’m definitely going to sit down and watch it tonight. I'll let you know what I think once I'm done.
