Pit stop strategies

I was scrolling through some photos earlier and noticed something interesting about the crew sizes during pit stops. It looks like Ferrari and McLaren both run with 23 mechanics, while Williams stays at 19 and Renault operates with 17.

By the way, it feels like Ferrari is finished; just look at who’s actually backing us up now.

BTW: Why is that guy in yellow fueling up the Williams cars? And why isn't he wearing the same uniform as the rest of his crew? Or maybe someone from Jordan has a side hustle going on.

Go ahead, laugh if you want, but the truth is the governing body actually seized the Ferrari tires from Monza to run some tests. This all kicked off after Goodyear reported a massive temperature discrepancy between the front and rear tires—we're talking about a 20-degree difference, which would imply they're using different compounds entirely. And we all know how illegal that is.

The only real "issue" might be a bit of a blunder by the inspectors; apparently, they grabbed the front left and rear right, while Goodyear claims they should have taken the front right and rear left.

If that's actually what happened... well, I guess they really made their own luck, didn't they? :-))))))

It would actually be pretty interesting if they started collecting tire rubber samples from the track too, just to see exactly how much wear and tear we're looking at!🙄

If this turns out to be true, things are about to get very interesting (and then we might actually see BAR and Jaguar fighting for the constructors' championship, assuming all the Goodyear and Ferrari teams end up getting disqualified) 🙂

I’m honestly skeptical about this news, mostly because I haven't been able to track it down anywhere else on the web (usually ESPN goes on these massive, drawn-out tangents whenever they talk about "the struggles over at Goodyear," so if this were actually happening, I'd expect them to be all over it)...

But hey, we'll see how it plays out...
Personally, I'm not losing any sleep over Ferrari.
