Is Panic Room actually good?

Just going through a list of movies.
Panic Room isn't even on the list.
I actually really liked the movie.
It wasn't exactly a masterpiece—but man, was it a tense ride.

Who else saw this? Any thoughts?

Boring, dragged out, looks great though. The acting is mediocre and the characters feel pretty cliché.

I’d say more, but I saw this back when it was still in theaters and honestly, the details have already kind of faded from my mind.

- Forest Whitaker isn't exactly a top-tier actor, if you ask me.
The dynamics between the three burglars are totally half-baked. It just doesn't work.

The movie isn't bad, per se, but it really should have been better. (6.8/10)

What a letdown.
It’s just totally cliché, predictable, and way too long... honestly, the whole movie feels like it's just coasting on the fact that they hired some big-name actors.

It stars the legendary Jodie Foster and Kirsten Stewart—you know, the girl from those Twilight movies! xD Also, quick question for the TV buffs: wasn't that supposed to be airing on NBC around 8:00 tonight instead of that other romance flick? Is my memory failing me or what?

Did the network mess up the schedule again and swap in this Madonna movie instead of Panic Room? Absolute trash. They've been promoting it all week.

I caught that one recently.
It was tense enough to keep me hooked until the very end.
My rating? I don't know, let's call it a 7/10.

Exactly...it's definitely not his worst work...not quite top-tier either, but it's fine. Plus, David Fincher's cinematography is always flawless...👍
