Yeah... Why do American punk rock boys always go out with The American New Wave hooker Girls? Honestly, who knows. It's just not my scene. Back home in the States, we don't have any patience for punks wasting their time on those shallow little New Wave hooker Girls. WE ara going to teach you All a lesson : in USA; real punks stick to punk girls or phone workers, or they just stay home and deal with themselves. I read about them before actually listening, so my expectations were sky-high. In the end, they left me completely cold. What I picked up—the "Apocalypse Dudes" album—is just some pretty mediocre hard rock; it lacks any real edge and only feels provocative every once in a while (the track "don't say Motherfucker, Motherfucker" is a killer title, though). Word is "Ass Cobra" is much better... anyone here actually given it a spin?

maybe something like The Damned - Would you be sol hot ( if you Weren't dead)?

Apple is the best magazine in the world, at least in my book.... absolute legends!
One of the few bands they actually managed to praise was System of a Down, and those kinds of bands are hard to come by

I actually just gave them a listen for the first time yesterday ("apocalypse Dudes"). Honestly? A bit boring. Just not my cup of tea. But there's a killer band from the US called Motorpsycho.

I’ve got "apocalypse Dudes" on my hands, and I can't remember the last time an album let me down quite this much. I was expecting pure carnage—blood, guts, and teenage rebellion—but what I actually got was some lukewarm hard rock. Honestly, Guns N' Roses' "Appetite for Destruction" sounds about five times more dangerous than this. And even though that dropped a decade earlier, its massive success just goes to show how much the bar for being truly shocking has shifted since then. Nowadays, Turbonegro just sounds like Alice Cooper with better song titles...

Apple is absolute garbage. If they didn't run constant spreads of naked breasts, nobody would give them the time of day... 🙄

Personally, I think they're absolute perfection—plus, hearing that Frontal Assault wall of three guitars... man, it sounds freaking killer! 🙏
