I had to drop by just to see what all the fuss was about... this is completely nonsensical. This was clearly an opportunity to pick up where a discussion left off elsewhere... Hello? The thread is titled "Amelie," yet the last actual post regarding that movie is buried at the top of page one!
Call this unresolved and let’s move on!
Let's be clear here: if I thought a movie stunk, I would have the guts to say it's 🙂, and I'd defend my position until the bitter end. But there's a way to do that: "I think it's stupid because the pacing is off, the direction is poor, the acting is subpar, or the script is weak..." etc. You don't do it by shouting: "It's just immature nonsense involving minors, Romani people, and gay characters—what do you kids even know about life!!?"
Now you've gone and reminded me that I urgently need to watch it myself! 😁
