The trivialization of "vampires" in movies

In my opinion, the absolute best vampire movie out there is Guillermo del Toro's Cronos. The atmosphere, the cinematography, the acting—it’s all just masterfully done. It feels sort of... I don't know, sluggish and heavy, yet somehow incredibly gripping at the same time. They even skip the whole tired vampire cliché of the fangs. It's such a great film—you really have to see it 🙏🙏
