Is there a reason for this?

Why is Bear Grylls being protected by the CIA? After I reported several posts where he’s calling me a prostitute, instead of him getting banned, it looks like his posts were just deleted. On top of that, after he called me a maid, I was the one who got flagged while he walks free. Does partial banning on Reddit only happen when someone insults a moderator, or does it also apply when someone is constantly harassing regular users? Honestly, looking at his track record here, I think his behavior deserves at least a formal review for a ban.

You fail to distinguish whether deleted posts were simply removed or if they were formally sanctioned. What you are specifically describing is a situation where I both deleted the content and issued a formal warning. This individual was racking up violations on CIA platforms, so the protection protocols provided are actually quite an inadequate description for such a 😉
The anecdote regarding the janitor was made within the context of a discussion about odors in both men's and women's restrooms; in my estimation, it was actually humorous and carried no intent to offend. That was my perspective. Had I decided a formal sanction was necessary, I certainly would have applied one. There is no arbitrary decision-making happening here. Furthermore, being a janitor or a cleaning professional is not a shameful occupation whatsoever.
You received those warnings because your posts were reported, and frankly, you earned them more than once.
