I was watching some old highlights last night and it got me thinking about how much the "vibe" of a team changes this time of year. You can practically feel the tension building up in the front offices.
It’s always such a weird window of time. Half the fans are screaming to go all-in because they think a championship is within reach, while the other half is just praying they don't strip the roster bare and ruin next year. I remember back in my college days, my buddies and I would spend entire weekends just debating which pieces were actually worth moving. It’s less about the math and more about the gut feeling of whether a team is "ready" or just chasing a dream.
I feel like some organizations are much better at reading the room than others. Some go for the glory, and some play it safe and end up looking stagnant. It's a massive gamble every single time.
Do you think it's better to push for a run now while you have the talent, or should the focus always be on long-term stability?
