So, a warning just popped up on the thread regarding immigrants at the US borders:
lonebadger6 said:The post and the link have been removed—please stop reposting this. There’s a very good reason why you won't find this "news" on any reputable outlet: it’s completely fabricated.
Even in the fake versions floating around obscure corners of the web (where it was picked up from Meta), there isn't even a mention of specific religious laws—the whole story is totally disconnected from reality.
I'm making this warning a bit longer because people are constantly whining about censorship or "suppressing free speech." Look, we only moderate things here if they fall under our guidelines—which, honestly, are much more reasonable than those loudmouths who act like they own the place just because they're old and stubborn. We aren't trying to cause panic or spread hate; we're just calling out pure lies.

So, the moderator is flat-out claiming the news is fake?!?
But how—and where—has it actually been proven to be a lie? Not a single word of evidence has been provided.
If it turns out to be true, how can someone like that even stay in a moderator position?

Is this some obscure little site:
http://www.cnn.com/en/german-school-p...ing/a-18567124

Not even close!!!
As long as there is no proof that this is actually a lie, this is nothing but censorship!
And since no evidence has been presented, what then?

I’ve been following both the American and international versions of CNN for years now—and let me tell you, calling it anything less than a legitimate news outlet is just wrong. It’s a serious organization. They even have a TV channel operating in multiple languages (including Arabic, if you can believe it) and they’ve never been one for cheap sensationalism.
It promotes United Nations values, and from what I gather, it's funded by either the German government or the United Nations itself.
So, in my opinion, pulling that link isn't really justified... it's a perfectly valid source for news.

Yeah, the stuff that got nuked—and will stay banned—is all that conspiracy nonsense about microchipping people, lizard people, Planet Nibiru, and that whole circus... along with the "portal" that peddles it.

Regarding that link you shared, just so everyone is clear, Nathan Brooks4 linked an article that has absolutely zero connection to what was originally posted in the immigration thread. What Nathan Brooks4 actually sent over was a story about dress codes in some American schools, which has nothing to do with immigrants or anything of the sort; they just prohibit things like short shorts or see-through tops, much like the similar, more or less strictly enforced rules you'd find in schools right here in the States.

The actual post that got scrubbed from the immigration thread was nothing but a total fabrication claiming some "small American town where the principal ordered kids to dress according to Sharia law."

End of story.

Doesn't matter, because nobody touched the CNN link. What got deleted was the link to that one site—which I won't name because I refuse to give them free advertising—that claims to reveal the "hidden truth" everyone is hiding... which I already described above.

So, I think deleting that link wasn't justified since it's a relevant news source.

Like I said.

You're lying again.
Here is a quote from the news I linked:
N/A

"Because our school is in the immediate vicinity, restrained clothing should be worn to avoid confrontations" with the mostly young, male asylum-seekers, he wrote.

"See-through tops or blouses, short-shorts or miniskirts could lead to misunderstandings," the letter stated.

It went on to tell students not to stare at the asylum-seekers or take photos of them, and warned that "derogatory or racist statements will not be accepted in any way."

So, it's actually the exact same story that was linked in the original thread, just using a different source. You claimed it was a lie—without providing a single shred of evidence, by the way—and you said the news (which you claim is fake) is only reported by shady websites. That's just not true, because here is a link from a perfectly mainstream outlet.
