MLS - Portugal (Primeira)

Opening this thread to track American soccer ☕
There is no need to include '15/16' in the title since we all know which season we are discussing, and honestly, I wonder if this thread will even hit 500 pages by the end of the season.

Let's make sure this major league doesn't get overshadowed by the others.☕
In my opinion, we should probably open separate threads for the leagues in Ukraine, Greece, or Turkey too.☕

The results from the play in the Super Cup: Benfica vs. Sporting ended 0:1 😍

This marks the first trophy for Jorge Jesus, who took over as Sporting's manager this season. Previously, he spent years coaching Benfica, picking up several trophies but also facing some tough losses in finals.🙂

The league kicks off next weekend.🍿
With 18 clubs 🤦 participating, the most intriguing name on the list is Tondel. ☕

As always, the most interesting part is looking at the biggest incoming transfers so far:

Porto (Iker Casillas, Mamadou Cissokho, Maxi Pereira, Pablo Osvaldo)
Benfica (Adel Taarabt, Aleksandar Mitrović)
Sporting (Naldo, Alberto Aquilani, Bryan Ruiz)

That’s not how you start a new thread.

The thread for this league already exists—it didn't sit there gathering dust with zero activity for a year—so we decided not to reopen it. It’s staying under Minor League Baseball.
