I was watching some highlights last night and it got me thinking about the weird hierarchy in professional sports. There are certain franchises that you just know are going to be the "destination" for every superstar looking for a new contract. They have that aura, that specific vibe where players actually *want* to go there to build a legacy.

Then there are the other teams. You see them making moves, shuffling the roster, and trying to find that winning formula, but there's this invisible barrier that keeps the high-level talent from even looking their way. It’s almost like they're stuck in a loop of "good enough" but never "great." It’s frustrating to watch because you see the potential, but the talent just doesn't seem to flow through the front office the same way it does for the elite clubs.

Do you think it's mostly about the market and the city, or is it something deeper within the organization's culture that keeps the big names away?
