Is it just me, or does the tension of the final days of the transfer window always feel a bit ridiculous? I remember back in my college days, my buddies and I would sit in a cramped dorm room, staring at live ticker updates, waiting to see if a certain striker would finally sign. It’s like a soap opera, but with much higher stakes and way more speculation.

There’s a certain kind of anxiety that comes with these "reports" floating around. You see a name pop up in a major outlet, and suddenly half the fanbase is celebrating while the other half is calling for the manager to be sacked because they don't agree with the profile of the player. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions that honestly makes me wonder if we all just enjoy the drama more than the actual football sometimes.

I feel like the "will they, won't they" aspect of a potential deal can be more exhausting than a mid-season slump. Once the ink is dry, the hype dies down, but until then, it’s just constant rumors and "close to" statements.

Do you guys actually enjoy the chaos of the deadline period, or do you find yourself muting the notifications to stay sane?
