Has anyone else noticed people getting shady in amateur sports?

I feel like the "honor system" is dying in local leagues lately. It's getting harder to tell if people are actually playing fair or just finding weird ways to trick the refs. Does anyone else feel like the competitive spirit is turning into straight-up deception in our local clubs?
