Does lonebadger6 have some kind of personal vendetta against me?

I could wrap my head around a 10-point penalty. But a 25-point strike just because he claimed I violated the rules? That’s ridiculous. I reached out to lonebadger6 via Walmart DM to ask for an explanation, and he completely ignored me. I am simply stating facts and figures, always staying strictly within the community guidelines. What exactly was "wrong" with the post I made that constitutes a violation? He didn't even bother to specify which rule I supposedly broke. On my favorite Reddit thread, I just said hello to everyone and mentioned I’d need to take a break from the site. When someone asked why, I explained that I don't want to get penalized in my DMs every single time I post something. Immediately after that, I was hit with another 100 points by lonebadger6.

There was zero explanation regarding which part of my post was a violation or which rule was broken. What part of what I wrote was inaccurate?

You can't really comment on moderator stuff here on Reddit unless you've been around long enough to know how things work... and that goes for those public apologies too, especially since you just took a yellow card.

To be clear, I didn't drift off-topic, nor did I insult anyone. There was no reason for this. Mr. altairfan simply cited "trolling" as the reason without providing any further context. Since I am an American speaker and not someone speaking Dutch or English, I would appreciate it if Mr. altairfan could explain exactly what he defines as trolling, why a legitimate news article suddenly qualifies as such, and perhaps provide an American translation for the term. Furthermore, I haven't seen any clear guidelines on this Reddit regarding how many penalty points a user receives, for how long, or for what specific infractions. Is this all decided arbitrarily based on whether my opinions align with Mr. altairfan's, or is there a standard? I am left wondering if Mr. altairfan has a personal grievance against me, considering I posted that exact same news article on an international Eurovision site and faced no ban whatsoever. And why specifically 100 points? Why not 30 or nothing at all?

Look, Moderator Bryan Patel2 doesn't have some deep-seated personal vendetta against Firefighter. The reality is much simpler: he doesn't even know who Firefighter is.
The issue is that you just dropped a raw link into a thread without any context—a thread centered on some trivial scandal that had absolutely zero connection to music or picking a song for the Eurovision Song Contest. Honestly, the article itself feels like pure clickbait designed to troll people.
You mentioned earlier that you speak English. Well, maybe try using that language more effectively next time by actually explaining what a link is about instead of just dumping URLs everywhere.
Posting links without any explanation is a direct violation of the rules here in the Television Network subforum.
As for your excuse about how you didn't run into trouble with that same link on some other platform? My response is simple: we don't care how other sites handle their links. This is Reddit, and we have our own standards.
