We’re talking about what our kids and grandkids will be eating down the line... and I really think we need to have a serious conversation about it, rather than just treating it like some joke...

At this rate, the only people actually eating steak and chicken are gonna be Gates, Musk, Bezos, and their inner circle. For everyone else? Well, you better start getting used to the taste of frogs and cockroaches. 😉

Maybe it’s just not clicking for you. This Regulation deals with what can actually be put on the market, not whether someone chooses to consume it. Gerald Rivera17 claimed that mandatory consumption would be a disaster, but I don't see anything controversial regarding the permission to sell it.

That’s how it always starts, I guess. First comes the permit, then a recommendation, and before you know it, it becomes a mandate. I feel like our experience with the COVID-19 vaccines should have taught us something by now. But hey, just stay complacent if that's what people want to do.

Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is with eating bugs—I mean, you guys eat lobster and shrimp all the time, right? So, it’s basically just one small step from there.
Plus, if you think about it, even all those ancient saints wandering through the desert living like ascetics used to snack on locusts 🤷 so, I guess the Church is actually totally fine with it.

My mom is absolutely obsessed with dried figs. I guess there's a bit of a concern about insects, though... Could you maybe explain how that works with the bugs? I'd love to be able to pass some info along to her so she can feel more comfortable enjoying them.
