So, here I am, posting again after nearly a month—honestly, it’s the first time I’ve ever filed a grievance where nobody even bothered to reply.

I ended up getting slapped with a two-month ban because of a single post where I called Los Angeles FC a "donkey's mess." Apparently, the mods interpreted that as an insult toward the users themselves—which is just nonsense, since I was talking about the club, not any individual person.

It feels pretty hypocritical, though—I mean, people are constantly calling the New York Red Bulls a "mommy's little mess" in soccer threads, and my own team, Austin, was being called a mess that very same day (which is what triggered my little outburst in the first place).

Look, if you aren't going to lift the ban, at least let me participate in the other sub-forums. I stay pretty active over in Career & Jobs and the Expat sections; I'm always trying to help out with advice or resources—I actually have a specific script for UX that people ask me for quite frequently.

The moderator Bryan Adams6 was the one who banned me, but I can't even find the original thread now because I've been locked out of my own messages.

Thanks in advance, and stay homegrown!

I got slapped with a two-month ban just because I called Los Angeles FC a "total dumpster fire" in one post. I even clarified that I wasn't insulting the users themselves—just the club—but apparently, that wasn't enough to stop them from claiming I was attacking people personally. Which, frankly, feels a bit unnecessary.

The thing is, people are constantly calling the New York Red Bulls "mommy's little loser" during soccer discussions, and even my own team, Austin, was being called a loser that same day—which is exactly what provoked my outburst in the first place.

It was the admin ZoomZoom who banned me, though I can't even find the original thread now since I'm locked out of my messages.

Sorry, but I have to be honest—it's just plain gross to be typing on this forum again, and I'm savoring every single letter I type. :zubo:

Meanwhile, everyone calls the New York Red Bulls a joke constantly, and my Austin squad got labeled a dumpster fire that same day too (which is why I snapped back).

The quality of discussion in the MLS thread is bottom-tier. Just report every trash post and they'll get sanctioned. A couple of us can't spend all day staring at a 0-24 score on the forum, reading every single post just to delete them if they break the rules. Saying you were "provoked" is some playground excuse; someone else being a jerk doesn't give you a free pass to act the same way.

If you aren't going to lift the ban, at least let me post in other sections. I’m pretty active in Career, Expat, and I often help folks out with advice or resources (I have a UX guide that people ask for all the time).

As far as I'm concerned, the soccer ban stays. You were already on thin ice with your "contributions" to the soccer board long before this. As for the rest, let someone with actual authority decide that.

Admin Bryan Adams6 banned me, and now I can't even find the original post because I'm locked out of my messages.

I'm neither an admin nor Bryan Adams6.
Thanks in advance. Staying homegrown!

Thanks to you too. See you in December!
