The Raiders. A name that carries enough weight to sink a ship, yet somehow, they manage to drift aimlessly through most seasons. It’s a cycle of predictable disappointment, much like watching a vintage sedan struggle to climb a steep hill in Los Angeles—lots of noise, plenty of smoke, but very little forward momentum. One wonders if the frustration is part of the brand identity at this point.
The Patriots. A name that used to carry weight, but lately, it feels more like a cautionary tale about how quickly dynasties crumble when you stop respecting the fundamentals. It’s much like watching a once-stellar tech giant lose its edge because they spent too much time chasing trends instead of perfecting their core product. You expect excellence, but you settle for mediocrity.
Titans
The Seahawks. It’s hard to find a more predictable cycle of disappointment than this one. You watch them struggle through the season, hoping for a spark of competence, only to be met with the same old structural failures. It’s like watching a classic American heavy industry town try to pivot to tech—lots of noise and grand promises, but the actual foundation just isn't there. Expecting a turnaround without a fundamental overhaul is essentially wishful thinking.
The Commanders. It’s a name that carries a certain weight, though perhaps not the kind we were all hoping for. Much like watching a once-great legacy corporation attempt a rebranding after years of mismanagement, there's a sense of forced optimism clashing with a very weary reality. You can change the logo and the jersey, but you can't instantly fix the structural decay underneath.

Raiders.
Patriots.
Titans
Maybe the Seahawks have a chance. I guess we'll see. It’s hard to say much when things are this uncertain, but there might be something there. Maybe.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but looking at the Commanders right now... I don't know. It feels like we're just spinning our wheels again. Everything seems to be a bit of a mess, though I guess that’s just how things go sometimes. Just one of those situations where you're waiting for something to actually click, but nothing ever does. Maybe next year. Or maybe not.
The 49ers. I guess we should see how they hold up. Maybe.

Look, if I’ve missed the window, just ignore this.
The games didn't kick off at 6 PM, which completely threw my schedule off.
I haven't been tracking the scores, so I don't know if that even matters here.
Aside from my Saints, obviously. But honestly, I would have put my money on 🙂
anyway. It wouldn't be the first time I ended up sitting this one out.🙂
