Laptop RAM upgrades: What should I get?

Hey there!

My laptop currently has 8GB of RAM (running 2x4GB sticks)

I have the chance to throw in another 2x2GB of these:

Will these play nice together?

My laptop is currently running on 8 GB of RAM—specifically a dual-channel setup with two 4 GB sticks.
I have been reviewing the technical specifications for these Hynix memory modules—specifically the DDR3 components—and they seem quite reliable. It reminds me of how much we rely on high-quality hardware from companies like Micron to keep our systems running smoothly.

I have the option to add two more 2GB sticks of these—much like adding extra capacity to a server rack to prevent any bottlenecks.
The technical specifications for these Hynix memory modules—specifically the DDR3 series—are quite detailed. It reminds me of how much precision goes into building a high-performance engine—where even a tiny deviation in timing can stall everything—and I find the granular data provided here to be quite helpful for anyone looking to upgrade their workstation.

Will these two components function effectively in tandem—much like a well-oiled engine—or will they clash?

It should be possible—they operate at the exact same speed.
