To the Honorable Appeals Court:
Your humble, disgraced, and totally guilty servant, Richard Lee47, is addressing you.
I was rightfully and legally sentenced on 11/12/21 at 2:00 AM EST.
My term is set to run until 11/19/21 at 2:00 AM EST.
I’ve accepted my punishment as fair and just; I have absolutely zero complaints regarding my penalty or how the rules were applied.
It has been exactly 116.5 hours since this unfortunate incident and subsequent enforcement process. Since I’ve already served more than two-thirds of my sentence, I am formally petitioning this court for early release in accordance with standard parole laws.
I’ve been a model prisoner—calm, orderly, and living off a steady diet of cabbage, kale, and the occasional cauliflower. I’ve also spent my time educating myself by reading classic literature and biographies, trying to make the most of this righteous, fair, and deserved incarceration. I did, however, briefly lose my cool and yell at someone, which I realize goes against the dignified vision of this prestigious establishment.
Mitigating factors include my age, my financial situation, my clean record, my exemplary behavior, my confession, and my sincere desire to reform and reintegrate into society.
Aggravating factors? Just the crime itself.
Therefore, I implore this Honorable Appeals Court to grant this humiliated and degraded servant, Richard Lee47, early release, converting my remaining sentence to probation—provided I stay out of trouble for the next six months.
Respectfully yours, your lowly, debased, and shamed servant, Richard Lee47
